The JMA-0530 Walking Dome "WaDom" was one of the many suits that the Dianna Counter forces used in their mission to return to the Earth. The WaDom's main armament consisted of a powerful beam cannon, which could fire in short bursts (longer if an external generator booster was attached). The beam cannon was powerful enough to destroy an entire city or even an Aspite ship in one hit. The WaDom was also equipped with missiles and anti air vulcans. Due to the WaDom's massive height of 40 meters it was also very effective in kicking and punching for close range assaults. In case of explosive damage to the main body, part of it could be detached for safety. The armor was even strong enough to be able to stand up to the Militia's airborne force without any damage at all. However, due to their size, WaDoms were rather ineffective against close combat mobile suits. The WaDom was the backbone of the Dianna Counter army, but it was also used by the Moonrace forces stationed on the space station Zacktraeger. One of the first units to be used on the Earth was piloted by Poe Aijee, and her attacks on Inglessa would lead to the awakening of the ancient SYSTEM ∀-99 (WD-M01) ∀ Gundam.
