Technical and Historical Notes

The ATM-09-RC Bountydog is a member of Gilgamesh's "dog" family of armored troopers. One variant is the ATM-09-BDC Bountydog Boyle Custom. Boyle's custom unit is similar to the standard Bountydog, but it is also equipped with a 4-tube missile launcher on the right shoulder. With its wire wench, the Bountydog can scale mountainsides, buildings or grapple to safety during a fall. Additional armaments include a compact heavy machine gun/grenade launcher. Boyle uses his custom unit in several battles against Merowlink Ality, first in the abandoned city of Kerama and later at Lulusy Ramon's family castle. In their final duel, Merowlink lays a series of traps throughout the castle and manages to destroy Boyle's Bountydog.
