During the Hundred Years War, the Balarant mass produce the B-ATM-03 Fatty as a counter to the Gilgamesh ATM-09-ST Scopedog. In addition, several variations are created, including the B-ATM-03-DT Fatty Land Type B. Customized for desert combat, the Fatty Land Type uses gliding wheels similar to the Scopedog rather than the hover jets used by the standard Fatty. The Fatty Land Type is heavily armed, featuring a fixed 6-tube missile launcher, dual mortar launcher and rifle. With its desert customizations, the Fatty Land Type is deployed in desert environments on planets such as Sunsa and Miyoite.
