When Zeonic Company began mass-producing the latest MS-06F Zaku II model mobile suit in the early months of UC 0079, many high-ranking Zeon officers had customized Zakus built for their personal use. One of these custom units, a limited-production MS-06Fs, belonged to Captain Garma Zabi, commander of Zeon's Earth Attack Force. His Fs-type was very similar to the standard F-type, but mounted four 40mm machine guns in the head for close combat. However, after Garma was assigned to Earth, he brought his custom Zaku with him but only rarely used it.
