Technical and Historical Notes

Another variation of the basic DT-6800A Daughtress was the DT-6800F Daughtress Flyer. This unit was virtually identical to the standard Daughtress suit, except that it was equipped with wings for aerial combat. This overcame the problem with slowing walking mobile suits on the Earth's surface. As with most of the other Daughtress types, many of these units survived and fell into the hands of various organizations. In A.W. 0015, the New United Nations Earth utilized a large number of Daughtress Flyers in its Pacific Ocean operations to recover Newtype weapons left over by the United Nations Earth. Soon after, the New UNE would replace the aging Daughtress Flyer with the NRMA-006 Gadeel mobile armor and the flight-equipped NRX-009 (NR-001) Balient mobile suit.
