Technical and Historical Notes

When ZAFT introduces the ZGMF-1000 ZAKU Warrior as part of its "New Millennium" series mobile suits, it creates various Wizard Packs to adapt the suit to various environments and combat situations. Once such pack is the EX-R4 Command Wizard used by the ZGMF-1000/R4 Command ZAKU CCI. This ZAKU variant is a non-combat unit, as noted by the absence of "F" (Fighter) in its model number. It's equipped with an electronic equipment pack, a parabolic antenna on its shoulder and a non-combat beam antenna gun. The base ZAKU unit features an upgraded drive system and avionics. As a non-combat unit, the Command ZAKU CCI operates with an escort of two regular mobile suits.
