The monks
try to wake Sai Saici so he can practice, but he doesn't want to
wake up. They throw water on his bed, but he disappears and sleepwalks
in the ceiling. He says to himself that even though he's fighting
Domon, there's no need to worry. A rat runs by him and causes him
to hit his head and fall through the ceiling. He falls inside a
room and stumbles upon a letter from his father. The monks notice
that Sai Saici is fighting with new spirit, and they wonder if it
is an omen. Domon trains with Allenby, and Rain tells him she can't
find any info on the Devil Gundam. Domon is convinced it is hidden
somewhere in the city. Rain then leaves in anger because she is
interrupting Domon's 'special training'. Sai Saici arrives on his
bike and ends up flying in the air when he hits the brick. He catches
his bike and all his food, but the stir fry pan bonks him on the
head. He cooks a meal so that Domon will be in the best condition
to fight. Everyone digs into his luxurious meal. Allenby wants to
fight with him, and Sai Saici agrees. They fight in the bay, and
Rain thinks all Gundam Fighters are immature kids as she steals
their food. They seem to be evenly matched until Sai Saici starts
glowing. He suddenly stops and gives up the match. Allenby says
he didn't use his true power, and he says he did. As they go back
to the boat, he sees on TV that the Premier of China has arrived
to watch the Gundam Fight. He leaves suddenly and asks Allenby to
tell Domon that they will meet again on the ring. Domon thinks Sai
Saici wants to put his life on the line and came to say his farewell.
Sai Saici rushes over to Neo China's headquarters to join the monks
in greeting the Premier.
The Premier
says that Sai Saici has done very well so far and has raised the
status of Neo China. He asks Sai Saici if he has any requests. Sai
Saici asks for the revival of the Shaolin Temple after he wins the
Battle Royale. The monks are shocked that he has made their dream
a priority. He tells the monks it's because he knows he hasn't matured
yet. Domon thinks about his first fight with Sai Saici and how he
was the only one to ever force Domon to a draw. He knows that Sai
Saici is going to put his life on the line, so he decides he will
give Sai Saici a good fight. The next day, Domon and Sai Saici begin
their fight in the bay. Wong hopes that Domon will finally lose.
Sai Saici seems to have the upper hand and corners Domon with his
Dragon Claws. However, Domon slices off both of the Dragon Claws,
which are also the arms. The monks pray and discover the letter,
which is the will of Sai Saici's father. He writes that he is dying
of a disease and asks them to raise Sai Saici to that their dream
will be realized. The monks see that this will is what caused the
change in Sai Saici. Everyone thinks that Sai Saici has lost, but
he goes into Hyper Mode and performs the Shin Ryuusei Kochouken
(Real Comet Butterfly Sword). The Premier is shocked because this
is the ultimate Shaolin final move that requires the fighter to
sacrifice his life. Domon uses the Bakunetsu God Finger, but Sai
Saici destroys his right arm. Domon counters by performing the God
Finger with his left arm. Sai Saici won't give up, and Domon is about
to finish him off when the Premier asks him to stop. The Premier
sees that Sai Saici is a dedicated fighter and promises to restore
Shaolin once he wins the Battle Royale. Wong is mad that Domon has
won again and wonders why everyone of his fights has to be so dramatic.
Master Asia says he doesn't understand the hearts of true fighters.
Rain thinks she is starting to understand what Schwarz said about
fighters expressing their feelings with their fists.
This is supposed to be another standard Gundam Fight episode, but it's more interesting
than others because it has Sai Saici. Although he's usually a prankster,
he's quite serious in this episode because of his father's will.
It seems he wanted to fulfill his father's dream of reviving the
Shaolin Temple and was risking his life to do that. Of course, even
the ultimate Shaolin move is no match for the all-powerful Bakunetsu
God Finger. Another development in this episode is in regards to
Domon and Rain's relationship. Neither one can admit their feelings,
but it seems Rain is jealous of Domon spending so much time with
Allenby. Of course, Domon is so dense when it comes to romance that
he has no clue.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
