 Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO 2: The Gravity Front Whereas the two parts of the MS IGLOO OVA focused on the Zeon perspective of the One Year War, the 2008 sequel OVA Gundam MS IGLOO 2: The Gravity Front turns its attention to the ground soldiers of the Earth Federation Forces. Director Takashi Imanishi (MS IGLOO, Gundam 0083) and the rest of the original MS IGLOO staff return for this sequel series, which eschews the ensemble cast of the prior series in favor of standalone stories with rotating casts. Set during the earlier parts of the One Year War, MS IGLOO 2 focuses on Federation ground soldiers fighting with conventional weapons at a disadvantage to the Zeon, who have revolutionized warfare through the development of mobile suits. The series is available on DVD and Blu-ray Disc in Japan, but it hasn't been licensed for a U.S. release. |
