Summary

In the Algus Kingdom, the Order of Algus Knights fights off Zeon forces led by Sorceress Qubeley. The Order's leader, Knight Alex, attacks Qubeley. A giant ball of fire representing Sieg Zeon appears, and Qubeley and Alex are swept away to the Munzo Empire. Alex is held prisoner, and Qubeley tells Emperor Conscon that with a member of the Gundam Clan captive, now is the perfect time to attack the Algus Kingdom. Amuro arrives at the Munzo Empire and finds that the area has been devastated by war. He goes over to the castle and finds Princess Yuiry pleading with Warrior Yazan to leave civilians alone. Amuro tells Yazan to stop, so Yazan attacks him. Amuro sidesteps Yazan, and Yazan jumps over the castle's moat and gets his claw stuck on the outer wall. Amuro asks Yuiry what happened, and she tells him that the empire has been at war with the Algus Kingdom. Amuro thinks there's more to the situation and believes an evil power is at work within the empire. Yuiry asks Amuro to journey to the Algus Kingdom and tell Prince Kamille that she's safe. Chamberlain Haman tells Yuiry to come inside, and Amuro heads for the Algus Kingdom. In the forest, Amuro encounters Fencer Zeta, Warrior ZZ Gundam and Wizard Nu. He's shocked by their resemblance to Knight Gundam and accompanies them to the Algus Kingdom. Amuro meets the King, who tells him that the legend of the Gundams originated from their kingdom. He says the country is protected by fighter, cavalry and mage units led by the Algus Knights. Kamille asks the King to reconsider the attack on the Munzo Empire because Yuiry is still there. Amuro talks to Kamille and tells him about what he saw in the Munzo Empire. He believes an evil power is in the empire and that the people need to be liberated. Suddenly, Zeon's Zakus attack, and the Algus Knights head out to battle. Zeta and ZZ Gundam are about to attack a two-headed dragon, but Nu blasts it with magic. A Dom attacks Zeta with an axe and misses, and Nu attacks him with magic. The Dom is pushed back when he blocks with his shield and escapes. The three knights then argue with each other about interference. Amuro walks through the forest and realizes that the knights need a leader to keep them organized. The forest spirit Gattle tells Amuro that he knows everything and knows that Amuro wants to save the kingdom and empire. He asks Amuro what Knight Gundam would do and tells him he must use the power of the dragon, lion and owl. When Amuro returns to the castle, he's informed that Kamille ran off on his own to rescue Yuiry. Amuro asks the King to let him join the battle, so the King puts him in charge of the Algus Knights. Amuro equips himself with Dijeh armor, and the knights argue about him being in charge. Amuro tells them that they're nothing like Knight Gundam and don't deserve to be called heroes due to their constant bickering. He says that if they can't cooperate, he'll just go to the Munzo Empire alone.

Amuro arrives at the Munzo Empire by himself and jumps over a line of Zakus. He's attacked by more enemies and fights his way to the castle, where he sees Kamille in chains. Knight Gelgoog attacks Amuro and tells him he should join their forces. Amuro refuses, and he's cornered near the moat by Gelgoog and a Dom. Suddenly, Zeta and ZZ Gundam appear and knock them in the moat, and Nu dispatches the other enemies. They say they believe they can rely on Amuro and will work together. The warriors of their three units arrive, and Warrior Dreissen smashes through a wall and challenges them. ZZ Gundam attacks Dreissen, but Amuro notices Dreissen's shield and tells Zeta to fight it instead. Sorcerer Bawoo appears and is attacked by Nu's Mage GMs. Amuro, Kamille, ZZ Gundam and Rick Dias run through the castle and are confronted by Qubeley. She attacks them with magic, so ZZ Gundam and Rick Dias attack her while Amuro and Kamille rush ahead. Qubeley transforms into a snake and attacks ZZ Gundam and Rick Dias. Yuiry tells Conscon they should surrender so that they can rebuild the empire, and Haman asks her if she's been listening to Kamille's nonsense. Amuro and Kamille burst into the room, and Amuro tells Conscon to surrender. Conscon refuses and says that the Algus Kingdom should surrender instead. Suddenly, the throne engulfs Conscon and Yuiry and transforms into the monstrous The-O. Outside, Nu and a GM kill Bawoo and take his staff, and Zeta kills Dreissen and takes his dragon shield. Qubeley continues to attack Rick Dias, but ZZ Gundam pummels and kills her. The-O grabs Kamille with its arm, and Amuro breaks free of its tentacles. The three knights arrive and tell Amuro to leave everything to them. Nu encases The-O in a force field, but it begins to float in the air. ZZ Gundam cuts into The-O with an axe to rescue Yuiry and Conscon, but he's sucked inside himself after releasing them. Amuro tells Zeta to use the dragon shield to block while Nu uses his magic. ZZ Gundam manages to break free, and The-O is finally destroyed. Amuro congratulates the knights on their work, but they say they couldn't have done it without him. The three knights then go down to the dungeon and rescue Alex. Later, the King thanks Amuro for bringing peace back to the kingdom. He tells Amuro to take the Algus Knights with him so that they can defeat Sieg Zeon, which is the source of all evil.

Commentary

This episode expands the world by showing us Amuro's journey to the far off Algus Kingdom and Munzo Empire. It looks like Sieg Zeon is up to the usual evil, so it's lucky that Amuro arrives when he does. Amuro hears of the legendary Gundam Clan, which may give a clue to Knight Gundam's mysterious past. The Algus Knights are a rowdy bunch, and without Alex to lead them, they're a mess. This episode brings many more Gundam character cameos, including Kamille, Fa, Yazan, Conscon and Haman. With peace restored to the kingdom, it looks like it's time for the final battle with Sieg Zeon.
