Part 1: Fierce Fighting. Will Gundam Stand Up!?

Three Zakus try to enter Side 7, but their small size makes it difficult to open the hatch. Inside, they spot Gundam sunbathing and attack it. Haro gives Gundam a bazooka, and Gundam blows a hole in the side of the colony and is sucked out into space with the Zakus. Gundam tries to launch from White Base, but it is overloaded with junk and then crashes into the hangar door. Lalah Sune and Char Aznable watch on TV, and Lalah thinks Gundam is cool. Char tells Lalah she's old, and she scares him be revealing she is a ghost. Char's Zaku wants to see Gundam in battle, but it flies so fast that it overshoots the battle. Elmeth attacks Gundam with its bits, and Gundam knocks them away with a fly swatter. Gelgoog shows up, and Gundam slices off Gelgoog's arm. Elmeth tries to stop the battle and protect Gelgoog, but Gundam slices into Gelgoog. At Solomon, Big Zam comes out to destroy GM's. Agg drills to the surface and knocks Big Zam over, causing it to be destroyed and turned into tempura. Zssa wants to fight, but its head is so heavy that it drops missiles and blows itself up. The Black Tri-Stars try to attack Gundam, Zeta Gundam, and Double Zeta Gundam with their Jetstream Attack, but Gundam beats them up. Palace Athene fires missiles to attack Gundam, but the missiles turn around and blow up Palace Athene. At A Baoa Qu, Zeong asks Gundam to join it, but Gundam thinks that Zeong's skirt is ugly. Zeong is offended and attacks, but its hands get tangled up during an all-range attack. Zeong's head chases Gundam, and Gundam hits it with a bat, causing it to crash into A Baoa Qu and destroy it.

Part 2: Day Off. Menace of the Zeon Hotel? Destruction Orders for the Gundam Pension!!

Amuro Ray, Kamille Bidan and Judau Ashta wait for customers to come to the Gundam, Zeta Gundam and Double Zeta pensions (hotels). Amuro jumps in the air and is hit by Bright Noa's bus, which is filled with girls. All the girls decide to stay at Kamille's hotel, and Amuro is sad and calls out Matilda Ajan. She shows up, and unfortunately for Amuro she brings her fiance Woody Malden. Judau tries to convince Haman and Mineva to stay at his hotel, but they decide to drive to the Zeon hotel. At the Zeon hotel, Char wonders why the Gundam hotels get all the customers, and Yazan Gable tells him it is because they beg for customers. Matilda agrees to stay at Amuro's hotel and brings Woody along. Leina Ashta tells Judau to get customers from Kamille, and Elpeo Ple runs by naked. Judau sneaks over to Kamille's hotel and finds all the girls in the bathroom showering. Everyone goes to a pool party, and Kamille tells Sarah Zabiarov to keep away from Paptimus Scirocco because he's creepy. Char decides to trash the party and brings along Yazan, Gemon Bajack and the Black Tri-Stars. Bright tries to attack Char and ends up falling in the pool. Later that night, a drunken Haman leaves the Zeon hotel, so Char attacks again with Zakus and Doms. Amuro, Judau and Kamille summon Gundam, Zeta Gundam and Double Zeta to fight, and Char calls out his full-sized Zaku. Nu Gundam comes out of a movie projector and throws Zaku into the Zeon hotel, destroying it. Char disappears and vows to get revenge in the movie.

Part 3: Final Arena. SD Olympics! The Stadium Saturated with Laughs

The SD Olympics between the Federation and Zeon begin with Char and Judau serving as commentators. The 100 meter run begins with Kamille, Amuro, Gaia, Qubeley and Garma Zabi. Everyone is left in the dust when Qubeley runs off, but Ple runs by and wins the race. The next race begins with Zock, Z'Gok, Double Zeta, GM and Dom. Double Zeta is the favorite to win, but it fires its high mega cannon and is knocked away and disqualified. In the shot put, Marasai throws a Ball but fails to set a record. Zeta Gundam throws Haro, but it smashes into the stands next to M'Quve. Zeta Gundam thinks it set a world record, but it gets disqualified. A survival marathon heads out of the stadium, and Judau and Char switch to coverage of gymnastics. Char is impressed as Sayla Mass performs acrobatics with Haro. Agguguy tries to perform acrobatics, but everyone throws trash at it. In the women's freestyle swimming, Emma Sheen and Elle Vianno argue with Hyaku Shiki because they don't want to wear the swimsuits it has. The race begins, and Dom Tropical Type jumps in and causes a tidal wave that knocks everyone away. The survival marathon continues and reaches a mountain. Kamille and Bright start digging, and Zaku is blasted while trying to use its bazooka. Gundam uses its beam rifle to break through, and Dozle Zabi and Ramba Ral punch the rock. Back at the stadium, Kai Shiden performs the long jump and is embarrassed when his shorts almost fall of. The survival marathon is near its end, and Gundam and Zaku have to cross a broken bridge. Gundam jumps onto White Base to cross the gap, and Zaku flies by on Musai. Zaku attacks Gundam, and both begin to fight in space near a colony. They later crash into the stadium, and Olympic Commissioner Degwin Sodo Zabi gives closing remarks. A space colony falls out of the sky and crashes into the stadium, blowing up everything.

Without a doubt, this is the weirdest property to ever bear the Gundam name. It's also one of the funniest. The sheer ridiculousness of super-deformed characters and mobile suits is funny itself. What's interesting is that this OVA features almost all the original voice actors reprising their roles from the real Gundam series. Many of the events in these three parts are parodies of events from the real series, but most are just ridiculous comic sketches like the SD Olympics. However, this OVA is for fans, so it's not quite as funny unless you've seen the first three TV series. Still, it's good to see Gundam making fun of itself.
