Lady Une
continues to make progress with the space colonies. When Nichol asks
her to return to Barge, he sees that she seems distant since she's
in her good mode. Bad Une takes over and returns to Barge. On Earth,
Zechs wakes up in a room and meets Howard. Howard tells him that
he didn't think anyone else could pilot the Tallgeese as well as
he did. Howard worked on the Tallgeese development with the mad
scientists. He tells Zechs that there is about to be a drastic transformation
in space and that he should go there. At Barge, Lady Une is informed
that one of the shuttles carrying a Gundam is approaching. She orders
Nichol to capture it with the aid of mobile dolls. If the pilot is
ugly, then he is to be spared. Nichol seems confused, and Lady Une
says it's a joke. The mobile dolls prepare to attack the shuttle
when Deathscythe comes out and begins attacking. Duo underestimates
the power of the mobile dolls and is quickly beaten. He tries to
self detonate, but he has no power left. Lady
Une orders Duo and the Deathscythe to be taken to colony C1102.
There, he is put on display as a symbol of what happens to those
who oppose OZ. He is interrogated and placed in jail.
Heero sees
him on TV and decides he must kill him. He breaks into the jail
and aims his gun at Duo. At the last moment, he decides not to kill
him. The two of them run around the base aimlessly because Heero
has no escape plan. Nearby, Wufei appears with the Shenlong and
attacks Barge. Lady Une is on her way out to a conference and is
caught in the battle. Nichol heads out with mobile dolls to fight
Wufei. He orders the laser cannon of Barge to be fired, despite
the fact that it kills OZ soldiers. The Shenlong is heavily damaged,
and Wufei is shocked that OZ would kill its own men. Lady Une appeals
to Wufei to stop the battle and create peace. Since she doesn't
make any sense, Nichol orders his men to shoot Wufei. Wufei stabs
himself with his beam lance and flies away. Heero and Duo distract
the mobile dolls by setting Leos as the target, which causes them
to destroy all surrounding Leos. Heero tells Duo that Gundams are
useless now because the mad scientists have been captured by OZ.
He vows to kill them. On Earth, Zechs launches in the repaired Tallgeese
with extra thrusters to get to space.
This seemed
to be a pretty pointless episode. Duo fights and is captured. Heero
vows to kill him, but as expected he doesn't. He vows to kill the
mad scientists as well, but he obviously won't do that. Lady Une
gets stranger each episode, and now she glows and sparkles with
her talk of peace. She really is two different people. Wufei's battle
is probably the strangest part of the episode. I don't see how stabbing
his own Gundam creates any extra acceleration. It doesn't make any
sense.
