24: The Gundam they Called Zero

OZ workers
prepare to attach engines to a natural resources asteroid. A shuttle
enters the area and refuses to answer all hails. A squad of Leos
is sent to investigate, and what they find is the new Wing Gundam
Zero in neo bird mode. The Leos fire at Wing Zero, but obviously
their power is not enough to destroy it. It transforms into mobile
suit mode and uses a powerful double buster rifle to destroy the
asteroid. The pilot of this new Gundam is Quatre. At the lunar base,
Lady Une and Tubarov debate over the use of Gundam pilots. Tubarov
believes that since the Vayeate and Mercurius are about to be mass
produced, they don't need the Gundam pilots anymore. Lady Une believes
they are necessary because no OZ pilot is as skilled as they are.
Lady Une is told about the destruction of the asteroid and receives
a transmission from Quatre that includes the specs for Sandrock
and a warning that he is going to destroy colony 06E3.
Against
Tubarov's objections, Lady Une sends Trowa and Heero in the Vayeate
and Mercurius to investigate. Trowa gets Heero from the cell and
gives Duo the specs for the new upgraded Deathscythe and Shenlong.
Trowa believes that with Quatre's help they can fight OZ, but Heero
is suspicious. They leave with a fleet of Leos to meet Quatre at
colony 06E3. At 06E3, OZ evacuates the citizens and prepares for
battle. Quatre shows up with Wing Zero and destroys the colony.
He sends out a message that he will destroy another colony. Heero
and Trowa change course to intercept. OZ soldiers explore another
evacuated colony and find Wing Zero inside. Quatre comes out of
the colony and begins destroying the Leos. At the lunar base, Tubarov
turns off the air supply to the prison cells to kill Duo, Wufei,
and the mad scientists. Trowa approaches Quatre, and Quatre shoots
him and nearly destroys the Vayeate. He tells Heero that outer space
has gone insane and the colonies must all be destroyed. Heero prepares
to fight Quatre and vows to kill him.
Well, another
Gundam has entered the scene. Seems he got the plans for Wing Zero
from Instructor H's files at the Winner colony. He should have deleted
his files. Though Wing Zero is pretty cool looking, it seems way
overpowered. It's much faster than the Wing Gundam, and the double
buster rifle gives it the ability to destroy a colony with one blast.
Make the pilot a psychopathic Quatre and you have a dangerous combination.
I don't see how it is that Quatre could have gone so completely
insane just because his father died. Since Heero says he will kill
Quatre, that obviously means that he won't. He should just not promise
to kill people, because when he does promise he never delivers.
Just look at Relena; I certainly wish he had killed her.
