Episode 30: The Reunion with Relena

In the forest, OZ and the Treize Faction fight fiercely. Against Quatre's objections, Heero has joined the Treize Faction as a mercenary. Since Romefeller has issued execution orders for the Gundam pilots, he wants to show them that he's still alive. Quatre decides that he can't stay and goes to a nearby town that's being occupied by OZ. The soldiers treat an old man brutally, and Quatre comes to his aid. The old man tells him that OZ is moving in because this country follows the pacifist beliefs of the Sanc Kingdom. The OZ commander meets with a local government official and tells him that OZ is there to protect them from the Treize Faction. The official says that his country is pacifist and will play no part in the fighting. Heero leads a group of Leos near the outskirts of the town as the battle begins. They fight of OZ's Leos and Aries and begin to push them into the town.

Heero sees the amount of casualties around them and declares the mission a failure. As the Treize Faction retreats, trucks carrying Virgos arrive. The Virgos quickly destroy every suit except for Heero, who is knocked out. In the Sanc Kingdom, Relena teaches her class that armaments are not necessary for pacifism. Dorothy disagrees and says that people like to fight. Later, Pagen tells her to be careful around Dorothy. He also tells her that Noin has found Heero and has gone to meet with him. As the citizens evacuate the destroyed town, Quatre decides to go to the Sanc Kingdom. He steals an Aries and heads to the battlefield, where Heero remains fighting the Virgos. Noin's plane flies overhead and drops the buster rifle from the Wing Gundam. She uses her plane's cannons to destroy some of the Virgos, while Quatre uses the buster rifle to destroy the rest. Later, her plane lands in the Sanc Kingdom, and Relena waits for Heero to disembark.

Okay, so Heero's a mercenary now? Something just isn't right about that. When the Treize Faction is meeting, it's odd to see all these men in uniforms, and there's Heero sitting with them wearing his stupid spandex shorts. Yet again, the Leo Destruction Factor comes into play here. Every other Leo takes one shot from a Virgo and is destroyed, but Heero is hit at least a dozen times. Also, I'm getting sick and tired of Relena's endless yapping about pacifism.
