Zechs enters the atmosphere with Wing Zero and hurries to the Sanc Kingdom. Heero continues to fight mobile dolls despite Relena's surrender. The Zero System has taken control of him, and he is looking for any enemy that approaches him. He spots Wing Zero approaching in neo bird mode and challenges it. Zechs accepts the challenge and begins fighting. Within moments he realizes that the pilot he's facing is Heero. He asks what happened to the Sanc Kingdom and wonders if it has fallen. He believes Wing Zero is telling him to kill those who have come for him, so he decides to kill Heero and end their ongoing battle. Nearby, a carrier carrying mobile dolls approaches and detects Wing Zero and Epyon. Elsewhere, Relena is held captive in the headquarters of the Romefeller Foundation. Duke Dermail tells her how moving her surrender speech was. He asks her to become the chief representative of Romefeller. A position such as this would make her the most powerful woman in the world. She refuses, but he tells her to think it over.

In the Sanc Kingdom, Heero and Zechs continue to fight. The Zero Systems drive them both mad, and their Gundams deactivate. Epyon falls on the ground, while Wing Zero falls off a cliff. Zechs climbs up the cliff and pulls out his gun, but both he and Heero collapse. In space, construction continues on the battleship. Tubarov leaves his right hand man Sedici in charge as he leaves for the lunar base. In his shuttle, he is captured by former Treize Faction members who are now space revolutionaries. They take him back to the lunar base, and he is introduced to an old man named Quinze. Quinze says that his group are revolutionaries from the colonies who call themselves White Fang. Quinze makes an announcement to all the colonies that they no longer have to accept the oppression of OZ. Tubarov escapes and locks himself in a room. He activates the mobile dolls, which begin to destroy White Fang mobile suits. The Altron appears out of nowhere and starts destroying them. Wufei also kills all the human pilots. Tubarov goes insane and believes himself to be invincible as the room explodes. Heero and Zechs wake up and see that mobile dolls are heading their way. Heero decides to take Wing Zero, and he tells Zechs that he can have Epyon because Treize built it. Heero takes off and leaves Zechs to fight the mobile dolls. At Romefeller headquarters, Relena decides to accept Duke Dermail's offer.

Well, there's certainly some big developments in this episode. With the Sanc Kingdom gone, Relena's hopes for pacifism seem to be fading. Zechs and Heero fight another useless battle, but at least this time one of them sees that it's useless. There's quite a lot going in space with the appearance of White Fang and the death of Tubarov. He kept blabbering on until the end about the invincibility of the mobile dolls. The question that remains to be answered about White Fang is which side are they on?
