Relena is
taken to the bridge of Libra and talks to Zechs. She tries
to convince him that Earth is heading towards peace, but he doesn't
believe in pacifism anymore. Dorothy suggests that she rest a bit
before trying again. Zechs orders Quinze to set a course for Earth
and move as soon as possible. On Peacemillion, the group
plans their next move. On one side, Zechs has the power of Libra
and White Fang. On the other, Treize is gathering all the forces
on Earth for a battle in space. They don't know which one is an
enemy, but Heero says that Zechs is the enemy. Alarms sound as White
Fang mobile dolls approach. Everyone prepares to leave, except for
Heero, who is staying behind to take care of something. Trowa's
Heavyarms has been equipped for space and upgraded with a second
gatling gun. The four Gundam pilots launch with Noin and head for
the mobile dolls. The mobile dolls begin attacking and showing signs
of strategies. Noin concludes that Zechs must have devised some
new system. The battle is harder to fight, since everyone insists
on fighting alone.
Relena
watches the battle and receives a visit from Dorothy. She gives
Relena a gun and says that's the only way to achieve peace. Relena
refuses because she doesn't believe in peace through assassination.
After the battle, everyone returns to Peacemillion for repairs
to the Gundams. Heero gives Howard some disks and asks him to install
the Zero System in Sandrock. Zechs shows Dorothy a new device he's
invented. He has adapted Epyon's Zero System so that a human can
control all of the mobile dolls. He lets her handle it as he leaves
with Epyon to fight Heero. As the Gundams prepare to launch, Heero
tells Quatre about the Zero System. He says that someone has to
lead the the other pilots while he fights Zechs. As the battle begins,
Heero flies off to fight Zechs. He asks Zechs why he's starting
a new war, and Zechs replies that he wants to end all wars. Everyone
fights on their own and begins losing. Quatre has no choice left
and activates the Zero System. With his leadership they begin to
turn the battle, and Dorothy panics. She tells Quinze to fire the
main cannon, and he does so. Peacemillion is unable to escape
in time and is slightly damaged. Zechs departs from the battlefield
and returns to Libra. Relena vows to end the battles.
Finally,
it's about time the Gundams all fought together as a coordinated
force. Their biggest problem is that they've always wanted to fight
alone. Perhaps if they worked together earlier they could have accomplished
more. The new mobile doll control system produces some interesting
results, as does Quatre mastering the Zero System without going
insane. One thing that bothers me is Quinze listening to Dorothy.
He used to be the leader of White Fang, so why should he listen
to some girl? That makes no sense.
