Relena returns
home and finds a large group of reporters waiting outside her house
with questions. She is reunited with her mother, who expresses her
sadness. She asks if Darlian said anything before dying, and Relena
lies and says he didn't. Her mother is about to tell her the secret,
but Relena stops her and says that she will always be her real mother.
Elsewhere, Lady Une gets a call from Treize asking why she hasn't
come back. She says she wants to finish the job and kill Relena.
Treize tells her to take five mobile suits with her in case there
is a problem. Wufei attacks an OZ base from the aircraft carrier
he sneaked onto before. At school, everyone seems to be enjoying
the party except Heero, who is hacking into the school's computer
again to arrange his transfer to another school. Relena arrives
at the party, and her friends tell her how sorry they are about
her father's death. She hears that Heero is leaving and goes to
his quarters. He pulls a gun on her, but she tells him it's not
wise to shoot her. Relena tells him how she met Doctor J, and that
surprises him. She convinces him to enjoy the party.
Heero and
Relena dance together, and she asks if he still intends to kill
her. He says he will because she knows too much about him. Heero
hears a plane nearby and looks out the window. The plane is an OZ
transport. Lady Une has several Aries launch to attack the school.
Heero runs to the forest and gets into the Wing Gundam. He shoots
an Aries out of the sky. Elsewhere, Quatre hears news of other attacks
and desires to meet the other Gundam pilots. Duo and Howard enjoy
the view of the Moon from Earth. Trowa shows up late for work at
the circus, but he goes out on stage with knife thrower Catherine
Bloom. She's surprised that he shows no fear at having knives thrown
at him. She accidentally cuts him and apologizes, but he says it's
his job. Heero continues to fight the Aries and Leos. One fires
at the school, and a tower crumbles over Relena. Heero dives towards
her and shields her from the debris with his Gundam. He doesn't
understand why he saved her and continues to destroy all the Aries
and Leos. Treize tells Lady Une to retreat, and grudgingly complies.
Noin thanks Treize on behalf of Zechs for saving Relena's life.
Treize wonders why Zechs didn't say anything about his only blood
relative. Heero faces Relena and slams his shield next to her, but
he still doesn't understand why he can't kill her. She tries to
talk to him, but he transforms the Wing Gundam to Bird mode and
flies away.
Well, this
episode was somewhat interesting. Lady Une sure does seem to have
some problem with anger, considering that she's so obsessed with
killing some teenaged girl. And Heero, he's starting to change somewhat
from the cold killer he appears to be. Instead of killing Relena,
he dances with her and saves her life. However, I think she's so
annoying that I wish he really would kill her. Too bad that's a
wish that will never be fulfilled. One interesting revelation is
that Zechs and Relena are related. The only question is why Zechs
didn't take any action to save Relena's life.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars
