Summary

D-Boy watches over a sleeping Aki in his quarters. He gets a feeling, and we once again see the body of the dead Alien Radam Tekkaman floating in space, with a Radam fleet coming. It’s the next day, and we see Yumi with Hayato getting on Gamma Ship to head off. Yumi changes into Tekkaman-Hiver and commences the drill, with Aki and Honda watching from the base. Honda says he’s surprised how much Yumi has improved over the course of a month, and Aki tells him that David and Natasha will return the next day for a final drill, and asks him to get all Blue-Earth craft ready. Meanwhile, we see Natasha spending her vacation time swimming in a pool, without the top part of her bikini though. A butler walks over to her when she gets out of the pool and hands her a phone, telling her it’s from the Military Staff Office, her father in this case. She takes it and listens, and after a while, throws the phone in disgust into the pool, and tries to relax. For David, he’s hanging out in a bar, just having a drink to himself. A woman walks up to him and asks him what he’s thinking about, and David says he’s thinking about a particular Tekkaman. The woman shows him a primary body necklace, and he gets the hint that she wants some ‘entertainment’ for one night, and he leaves the bar with her. On the next day, the Blue-Earth craft head into space. Honda watches the launch, and wishes Yumi luck. In Orbit, the Blue-Earth craft head to a debris field of destroyed Earth ships, and with David, Natasha, and Yumi Tekk-Setter as Sommer, Vesna, and Hiver. Hiver looks at the damage she caused last time, with Vesna and Sommer adding some minor insult to injury comments. Sommer then asks Hiver if they’d like to celebrate after training, and asks her if she would like to celebrate in ‘his arms’. Hiver doesn’t get it until a second later, and is shocked by his comment. Aki from the main Blue-Earth ship tells the gang to start the training, and Vesna and Sommer start jumping off the hulls of each ship. Hiver fires the Reactor Vol-Tekker, and sends two beams to follow Sommer and Vesna’s paths. Vesna’s foot gets stuck in a part of a ship haul, but Hiver manages to turn the Reactor Vol-Tekker beam away from hitting her. Hiver pulls the beam back at her, and stops the Reactor Vol-Tekker just moments from hitting her. Hayato is happy for Yumi since she passed the test to control her power, and Aki tells the crew to head back to Earth with a smile on her face. As Blue-Earth heads down, Hayato seems to be reading some Tekkaman information book, when Goliate tells him that the ‘two of them’ have left. Hayato leaves his ship in a panic, and Natasha comes onto the com and asks Goliate where Aki is. He tells her he only knows that Aki is on the Orbital Ring doing some business. We see Aki in what seems to be a casual passenger section of the Orbital Ring, thinking to herself that the Earth can actually be saved. As Blue-Earth continues down, Yumi is talking to David about his offer, and says she has to decline it. David says it’s because she likes the ‘White Tekkaman’, and tells her that Honda told him the story too about her. Yumi goes on to say that she doesn’t know him, but suddenly an image of D-Boy comes to her mind. She repeats her statement that she declines his offer, but David simply laughs and says he wishes he could be as honest as her. The two of them walk off, passing by Hayato is he hides behind a corner in the hall they walk by, and Hayato seems to be getting the wrong impression. Later that night, Yumi is suddenly in a towel and tells the person who sees her to be gentle, and starts removing the towel. Hayato suddenly wakes up from a chair and realizes he was dreaming, and tosses a book aside in frustration. David is awake in his bed, and remembers the conversation with Yumi, and he gets out of bed. Both of them start walking to Yumi’s quarters, and they run into each other. They both ask each other what they’re doing here, and suddenly hear Yumi talking about a certain subject about ‘first time’ and ‘too strong’. David tries to stay calm, but Hayato goes nuts and barges into the quarters, but falls flat on his face. He gets up, with David behind him, and sees Natasha with Yumi, Yumi goes on that Natasha is celebrating with her, and Hayato and David see a large supper with liquor about. Hayato finally gets the idea of what Yumi was saying, but just before David was about to fill in what Hayato originally thought for a virgin topic, Hayato shuts his mouth. Goliate and Anita drop by, and the crew has a party. Goliate and Anita talk about how Natasha can be nice when she wants to, while Hayato argues with David how he says love is a person to person relationship, while David goes after every girl in sight, which of course gets David’s temper up a bit. Yumi just enjoys the conversations, and is happy that they’re now a team.

Late that night, the crew is fast asleep, but David gets up and leaves, and notices how Yumi is the genuine innocent article. As he leaves and heads to another room, he starts reciting words from the Bible, about how Lot came to Zoar. As he continues his sentence, Aki leaves D-Boy’s room and eventually walks into the same room David is in. As David continues his sentence, Aki finishes by how Lot’s wife, looked back, and became a pillar of salt. Aki says she doesn’t believe in ‘superstitious’ things, but believes that meaning behind that sentence applies to David. David suddenly has a vision of a past memory. Civilians and Primary Tekkaman are fleeing, with David as a young teen. He sees Aki as the Red Tekkaman, standing over a few bodies of other Tekkaman, and she turns to look at him. David’s memory ends, but before David can tell her something, the base comes under attack by Radam, with D-Boy getting another signal from his forehead symbol. A portal opens in the water near the Space Knights base, and the rest of the gang gets up, with poor Yumi having a hang over, while Natasha shoves some head ache pills down her throat and grabs ahold of Yumi to get going. 5 new Alien Radam Tekkaman on Radam Riders appear, and they head towards a nearby city. The Space Knights get ready to head out, but Natasha stops Yumi and tells her to take Alpha Ship, since now Hayato is the pilot. She tells Yumi the strongest takes point, and Yumi accepts the position. They head out, with Yumi, Natasha, and David Tekk-Setting. Aki briefs them that their target is the Space Knights base and tells them to not let them get close. The Radam Tekkaman enter a nearby city and start creating some confusion on the streets, with the Space knights unable to use full force. Hiver fires the Reactor Vol-Tekker, but they start to zig zag around in the city. Sommer tries to follow one of them, while Vesna covers for Yumi. Sommer chases one down, but two more come at him. Hiver’s Reactor Vol-Tekker flies by and kills one of the Radam Tekkaman, but Yumi suddenly hears some woman screaming, and she stops her attacks. The Space Knights look in shock to see the Radam Tekkaman gather around the one dead Tekkaman, and they realize that they have feelings, and are not simply drones. Aki tells them to keep attacking, but they don’t listen. The Radam Tekkaman seem to pay their respects, and then fight back, leveling and entire building, but the Space Knights are simply running away from them. Aki tells them to fight back, but Hiver says they’d be murderers if they do. Aki realizes they’re too soft, and gets ready to head out. Hiver gets knocked down by two Radam Tekkaman, and the entire Radam team minus one send tendrils to grab ahold of Hiver’s arms and legs, and start trying to pull her apart. Hayato can’t get to her since the last Radam Tekkaman fends him off, and when Vesna and Sommer try to help, the lead Radam Tekkaman fires its Vol-Tekker at nearby buildings and knocks them out of commission. Pegasus activates with the main Blue-Earth craft, and Aki Tekk-Setters into the Red Tekkaman. Sommer and Vesna carry Goliate and Anita to try to help Hiver, but then Pegasus and Red fly by them, and cut the tendrils holding Hiver. David realizes it’s Aki, and Vesna, along with everyone else, are horrified to see Red cut one Tekkaman in half down the middle, and slice another one in half from the stomach. As Red kills the fourth Radam Tekkaman, Vesna and Hiver can’t even look at their commander’s brutality, but David sees them look at them, and then fights the last Radam Tekkaman. Hiver wonders why Aki is so cold-hearted, but Sommer tells them that she knows something colder than Hell, and tells them that she’s showing them what a fight is. He then recites again how Lot’s wife looked back and became a pillar of salt, as he watches Red kill the final Radam Tekkaman.

Commentary

This episode shows a great deal of progression, and also at the same time more problems the Space Knights have to work out. Natasha, David, and the rest of the gang are accepting Yumi’s role, and she’s coming to like them as well. It’s a bit hilarious how Hayato is trying so hard, but is a bit clueless at times, and his arguments with David aren’t going well for him. Yumi seems to have a crush on ‘the White Tekkaman’, or D-Boy in this case, but I don’t think she fully knows yet. David on the other hand seems to have feelings for Aki it would seem. But things take a bad turn when the Space Knights see that the Radam Tekkaman are also still the same beings they were with feelings, but are with Radam. The result nearly gets Yumi killed, but Aki was around to save their butts. We get a little religious message, and it’s message rings pretty clear here. Overall, a good episode with good action…but we have yet to see D-Boy make his big entry.
