April 8, 2000

Well, today is our first full week on the net. What will we do to celebrate? Post more reviews, of course. Today we have the review for Robert Jordan's The Eye of the World in the Wheel of Time section. Throughout the next few weeks we will post reviews of the remaining seven books in the series. The next fantasy series on the list to review is L.E. Modesitt's Saga of Recluce.

If this page seems smaller to you, it's because we've moved all of last week's news to the new archive area. Every week all old news will be moved there.

April 7, 2000

Today we have two new updates. First, we have a rant that is a reply to the one posted yesterday. The second is a "Wheel of Time Walkthrough" that is meant to give new fans of the series a basic explanation of the massive historical background in the series.

April 6, 2000

We were unable to post any updates yesterday because our server was down. However, today we have a new rant posted today and some reviews coming up. By April 8th, we will have a review up for Robert Jordan's The Eye of the World. On April 9th, we will post a special feature about Cartoon Network's Toonami Full Cycle, a 24-hour block of anime and anime related shows that will air on Saturday, April 8.

For the next week or so, we will be posting Wheel of Time reviews up to the last book. Soon after we will premiere the Macross section we've been working on behind the scenes. By Macross, we mean the complete TV series, the Plus OVA series and the Macross II OVA. Be on the lookout for it.

April 1, 2000

Well, today is our first day on the Net. We're starting with quite a few reviews in each section. In the fantasy section we have complete reviews for Sword of Truth and the main page for Wheel of Time. In the Animation section, we have reviews for the Mobile Suit Gundam movies and the main page for Slayers (reviews forthcoming). In our Rants section, we have three articles (two of which are from the old website). Last, our Links section is up with several links available. From now on updates will (hopefully) be on a daily basis.

Check back April 2nd for reviews of New Spring and The World of Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time, both in the Wheel of Time section.

Our plans for the near future include posting reviews for the entire Macross series (already 80% complete), Gundam Wing, and the addition of a games section where titles from the Lunar and Final Fantasy universe will be reviewed.

In other news, Tor Books released L.E. Modesitt's Magi'i of Cyador, which is the tenth novel in his Recluce series. The time frame of this story makes it the oldest tale in the series, set even before Fall of Angels. Tor will publish the follow-up book Scion of Cyador in October or November.
