More Turn A by Chris 11:25 P.M. EST
I guess that even though I'm supposed to be on self-imposed vacation I can't quite stay away from the site. Burke had plans to do mecha profiles for Turn A Gundam, but he is busy working on G Gundam, so I decided to do some myself. Now available are 10 profiles for the following suits in Burke's All the World's Mobile Weapons format:

AMX-109 Kapool
AMX-109 Kapool Corin Nander Custom
CONCEPT-X 6-1-2 Turn X
FLAT-L06D FLAT
MRC-F20 SUMO
MS-06 Borjarnon
MS-06 Borjarnon Gavane Goonny Custom
SPA-51 Cannon Illefuto
SYSTEM " -99 (WD-M01) " Gundam

TAF-M9 Eagel

The Burke's All the World's Mobile Weapons list has also been updated. Ok, this really is the LAST update I will be making during my vacation. See you all again in a few weeks.

Turn A Gundam by Chris 9:08 P.M. EST
Part of being on vacation is that I get a chance to sit back and watch all of Turn A Gundam as a fan and not yet as a reviewer. Well, I've just finished viewing the series, and I was very impressed. Ignore those comments of mine from the first episode that I wrote years ago. Once I am back from vacation, one of my first priorities will be to finish the reviews for Turn A. In the meantime, I looked at the mecha profiles and noticed they aren't up to date. So I took a few minutes to update pilot names and which suits they pilot, as well as some new pictures for the following suits:

GMIF (XM-7054) Bandit
SYSTEM " -99 (WD-M01) " Gundam

Tributes of Various Sorts by Chris 8:25 P.M. EST
I'm still on vacation, but I have some notes to make. The first is a Gundam tribute page created by Tatanko, which can be found here. It thanks people like myself, Lore, Mark Simmons, etc for our work in the Gundam community. Personally, I think it's kind of nice to be listed above Yoshiyuki Tomino and Kunio Okawara. :-)

On a more serious note, a fan has asked me to make a personal dedication to a recently deceased friend. This is not a request I usually receive, and I doubt I ever will again. However, I am honoring it this time, so to those whom it may concern:

Dedicated to Tim Kress (1988-2002)

Two Years Down, Infinity To Go By Chris 11:59 A.M. EST
Today marks an important day for the website: our two year anniversary. It's been a wild ride these last two years, and as last time there is a large update to mark the anniversary. In fact, it's the single biggest update ever to the website, beating the record held by 50 new Macross reviews back in May 2000. So what is this update? Why, it's the completion of the Mecha Domain! Now available are complete sections for:

-Armored Trooper VOTOMS
-Aura Battler Dunbine
-Dragon's Heaven (an exclusive new section Burke completed but never made public)
-Fang Of The Sun Dougram
-Megazone 23
-Mobile Police Patlabor

But that's not all for today. Neo-Era has sent in the latest version of his new Gundam series rumor FAQ, so that's up in the section. Also, #gundam chat regular WhiteWolfOfSolomon (not to be confused with Gundam.com's Shin Matsunaga) has sent in a picture for the following mobile suit:

MS-09F Dom Funf (from Zeonic Front)

Now that the new stuff is out of the way, it's time for some personal messages. I'd like to thank all of our visitors who have supported us, whether it be through 'thank you' e-mails, helpful suggestions, posting on the Forum or purchasing items. This website exists for people like you, and your continued support makes it possible. At this time I'd like to single out the following people for special thanks:

Lore- As co-founder of the site, Lore makes it all come together. Though he doesn't get the spotlight like I sometimes do, he deserves as much credit for MAHQ as I do. The site could not possibly exist without all the work he does in the background.
Corben & Neo-Era- Without their friendship and support, many of the reviews you see on this site would not have been possible. Corben has been a great help in providing new material, and he is also now a Forum Moderator. Neo-Era is as always a good friend and a good source of information, especially with his FAQ.
Burke Rukes- What could I possibly say about the founder of the Mecha Domain? If someone told me last year that I would be hosting the Mecha Domain, I would say they were crazy! I'd like to thank Burke again for having faith in me and Lore to carry on the legacy of the Mecha Domain.
Mark Simmons- As the 'God of Gundams', Mark has always been quick to assist whenever I have had difficult questions that needed answering.
Ben 'Amuro' Koshy- Ben's a great guy, and he certainly has his work cut out for him on Gundam.com. I'd like to thank him for his assistance in getting people to migrate over to MAHQ after the Mecha Domain shut down.
MechaMaster & other Forum members- I'm glad to see the work you all have put in to the G Gundam RPG and helping the Forum to really take off. Keep up the good work.

Well, this update is starting to look like some long-winded Oscar acceptance speech, eh? Thankfully, I only have one last announcement to make. A massive update like this wears me down. And as a matter of fact, I've been working nearly nonstop on this site for almost two years. It's time to take a break, so I decided after this update that I would take a few weeks off and relax. Whenever I return, you can be sure I'll have plenty of updates.

Until then, as Burke would say, believe in the sign of Zeta!
