No, I didn't
forget about Trigun. I'm back with a review of episode 21
(with screenshots).
Surprisingly, it's another 5 star episode!

Today I present
our exclusive first review for Terry Goodkind's new book Faith
of the Fallen. This book has been out for only a week, so no
one has had a chance to write a detailed review yet, but I did.
After this, it's back to Recluce with the two part story
chronicled in The White Order and Colors of Chaos.

Gundam
returns with reviews for episodes 31-33 of Gundam X. This
now marks the final third of the series. After that, what comes
next? Who knows.

Taking a bit
of a break from the Gundam, I present a review for L.E. Modesitt's
The Magic Engineer in the Recluce section. Next, I'll
be taking a brief diversion from this series so that I can review
Terry Goodkind's new novel Faith of the Fallen. A review
will be available later in the week.

Well, today I present
the surprise: a review for episode 1 of Turn A Gundam (with
screenshots provided by Lore). This is an exclusive review, because
as far as I know, no other American site has done a detailed review
of this series. Also, there is a new rant called "The Death
Of Subtitled VHS" up that just completed its run on About.com.
A new one is up, and you can read it here.
-Chris
Another fantastic
Trigun episode, number 20, is available along with screenshots.
As promised, there are now screenshots for Zeta Gundam episodes
4-6 also.

There's quite
a few updates today. First, I have reviews for episodes 28-30 of
Gundam X. The series is coming very close to its conclusion.
Also, the article 'Gundam For Dummies' has been updated with new
information. And for whatever reason (possibly insanity) Lore decided
to take screenshots of episodes 1-10 of Macross 7. I can
imagine that taking the screenshots are almost as bad as watching
and reviewing the series. Check back tomorrow for a surprise.
-Chris
More Trigun is
available with the review and screenshots from episode 19. I will
be taking more screenshots (possibly of Zeta Gundam) for tommorrow's
update (that is not the big surprise).

Today I present reviews
for episodes 25-27 of Gundam X. Now that I am two thirds
through this series, I will announce the next series I will review:
The Vision of Escaflowne. Now that it's on FOX, there will
be plenty of fans looking for good reviews. In other news, L.E.
Modesitt's Scion of Cyador was released today. He's writing
them faster than I can read them! A review will be posted later
for this book after I read the first part of this duology, Magi'i
of Cyador.
-Chris
It seems that
since we have so much anime to review, we have to keep double updating.
Trigun episode 18 is now up with a review and screenshots.
Tune in later this week for a review of Turn A Gundam (I
have to keep bugging Chris about that one, as the first episode
is rather disappointing).

Vash's past is completely
revealed in the review of episode 17 of Trigun (with screenshots).
This is the first episode I have ever given a 5 star rating to!
-Lore
Wow, five stars. Lore
doesn't hand out praise easily when it comes to reviews, but neither
do I. Lest the Gundam be forgotten, I have reviews for episodes
22-24 of Gundam X. Tomorrow I will reach two thirds completion
and will announce my next series. In other news, Terry Goodkind's
Faith of the Fallen was released today. I will have a review
for this new book in the Sword of Truth series as soon as
possible.
-Chris

There's more Gundam
today with my reviews (no screenshots) for Gundam X episodes
19-21 today. Almost at the two thirds point, so expect the announcement
of my next reviews soon. Also, there's going to be some other Gundam
reviews this week, including the extremely rare Turn A Gundam.
That's the only tidbit I'll let slip for now.

Whoever can guess what
my update is about wins a free DVD! Well, not actually. Altough
the Lore Store has some coupons you could use on DVD's. Well, enough
shameless plugging. Today I present episodes 16-18 of Gundam
X.
-Chris
August
18, 2000
Since I'm the
one updating today, you can take a guess as to what I have. Reviews
for episodes 13-15 of Gundam X are now available. This set
of reviews places me through one third of the series. Just to keep
everyone in suspense, after I finish two thirds of this series,
I will announce the series that I will cover next.
-Chris

Rumors of my
death have been greatly exaggerated. I'm still around, but I've
had other concerns to deal with aside from the website. However,
today I'm back with reviews for episodes 10-12 of Gundam X.
There's gonna be a whole lot of Gundam in the near future.

August
16, 2000
What better way to commemorate
the 16th of August than with a review and screenshots of the 16th
episode of Trigun? Since I am 2/3 done with Trigun,
I will go ahead and spill the Pocky about what show I will be tackling
next. It will be Batman: The Animated Series, truly one of
the finest American animated shows; it is a favorite of Chris' as
well as mine.

Our 200th review surprise
is the premiere of Slayers, done by our new staff member
Miaka! She has access to all three series and will be reviewing
them in order.
-Lore

The review (along with
screenshots) of episode 15 of Trigun brings us to review
number 199! Check back Monday to see what we do to celebrate our
200th.
-Lore
August
12, 2000
There will be
a news series premiering here very soon (oops, I think I gave away
the episode 200 surprise). Until then, enjoy the last half of Trigun
with my review and screenshots from episode 14.
-Lore
August
11, 2000
After a brief
hiatus, I return to Gundam X with reviews for episodes 8-9.
I have all of this series, so I will be reviewing the whole thing.
By the way, we are very close to our 200th review, and we plan to
do something special for it. Look for it on Monday.
-Chris
August

Speaking of
halfway points, today I reach that and pass it with reviews of episodes
6-7 of Gundam: The 08th MS Team. Until I get the remainder
of this series from Lore, it's back to reviewing Gundam X.
-Chris
August
8, 2000
I am now at
the halfway point in Trigun with my review and screenshots
of episode 13. Now that the series is winding down, I will soon
reveal what series I will tackle next.
-Lore
August
7, 2000
I decided to do something
a bit different after cranking out two book reviews. After more
than a month, Gundam returns with long-delayed reviews for
08th MS Team. Today I start off our continued coverage
of this series with episodes 4-5. We also have another announcement
we are very pleased to make. Our friend Miaka has officially joined
our reviewing staff. Her debut reviews are coming soon, and she
will be covering Slayers. We're glad to have her on the staff.
-Chris
August
6, 2000
I'm one episode
away from completing volume 4 of Trigun with my review and
screenshots from episode 12. The comedy is quickly disappearing
from this series.
-Lore
August
4, 2000
Today I have
a review for the Recluce novel The Towers of the Sunset.
I intend to press on with this series until I completely finish
it. The next review in this complicated series will be for the third
published book, The Magic Engineer.
-Chris
August
3, 2000
As promised, here is
episode 11 of Trigun complete with a review and screenshots.
You'll have trouble finding any site besides FAHQ that has reviewed
beyond episode 10. This episode is part of Pioneer's volume 4, which
is available now for preorder, but won't be on sale until September
26. On another note, today marks one month that the Trigun
began.
-Lore
August
1, 2000
I have caught up to the
extent of the US releases of Trigun with my review and screenshots
of episode 10 today. Don't worry though, as I will review episode
11 well before it is released here. In other news, we have acquired
some Turn A Gundam fansubs and will be posting our exclusive
reviews shortly.
