New C3 Screens
by Lore 3:22 P.M. EST
I have taken and cleaned up some new screens
to replace the previous blurry ones. The screens posted are from
the first half of the promotional video, which is the portion with
the mecha. The second half, the character portion, will be posted
shortly. The suits are now clearly identifiable, and thus I was
able to change my captions to clearly state which suit was which.
Thanks go to Gundam
Plus for that video.
Fanfic Expansion
by Lore 2:42 A.M. EST
The fanfics are finally back in full swing. Today I bring you 'Chars
Counterattack: Ten Years After' by QuessParaya and 'G Gundam: Trial
of Honor' parts 1-9 by Mirai Rogue. If you want your fanfic to be
posted in the Fanfics section, it has to be complete and have a
rating attached (G, PG, PG-13, or R). As always, post them in the
forum for consideration.
SEED Video by Chris
12:40 A.M. EST
The Gundam SEED promotional video from C3 has shown up on
the internet. It is available at Gundam
Plus for download, along with 44 screenshots. I'll have screenshots
of my own soon, as there is a lot to examine. The video clocks in
at 4 minutes and shows all the Gundams in action, along with all
the main characters from the series. Surprisingly, the Gundam Astray
from the manga side story is also in the TV series, so I've changed
the model number (again) and added it to the SEED TV section
(again). Also, there's the unsettling fact that this series features
Zoid-like animal mecha. Finally, the end of the video confirms
something everyone has been wondering about. The premiere of the
series is set for Saturday, October 5, at 6:00 P.M. on Japan's TBS
network. Expect more info soon.

Anime Janai by
Chris 12:42 P.M. EST
It'll be awhile before there's new G Gundam profiles, so
for the moment it's back to reviews. With most of Gundam completed,
it's time to finish off the Gundam ZZ section. Check out
the upgraded reviews (with some new screenshots) for episodes 1-5.
Expect new reviews soon.

The New Battle
by Chris 7:10 P.M. EST
It's been a long time since there was an update to the Fanfics
section, but there's a big one today. Now up are the first 10 chapters
to the sequel to 'The Last Warrior' by Neoguy23. Expect more soon.
Also, episode 14 of G Gundam aired today, so click
here for the review, or check out the new profile for the Kowloon
Gundam.
#MAHQ by Chris
1:08 A.M. EST
I'm happy to announce that our IRC channel has moved to a new home.
We've ditched the unreliable DALnet and have joined our friends
from #anime_gundam on Aniverse. To join us, use your IRC client
to connect to irc.aniverse.com and enter the channel #mahq. Corben's
IRC guide will be updated very soon to reflect these changes. Also,
thanks to the hard work of Lore, you can expect to see a new feature
soon: a chat applet! That's right, you won't have to be an IRC expert
or use some client to join the chat. In other news, episode 13 of
G Gundam aired yesterday. You'll have to wait a little longer
to read about the Master Gundam, but click
here for the review.

The SEED Grows
by Lore 2:46 A.M. EST
You can find some pics of the Gundam SEED footage shown at
the C3 show by clicking here
or the above link. The pictures were quite blurry, but I tried to
clean them up as much as possible. I also have some new higher quality
pics for the Gundam SEED mecha and support vehicles, including
the Astray from the Gundam SEED side story.

Stuff by Chris
2:10 P.M. EST
Lots of new pics are available now for the mecha of Gundam SEED,
along with some new specs. Also, some suits have been renamed with
new names and model numbers. All pics are courtesy of Gundam
Plus, except for the Gamow. Episode 12 of G Gundam also
aired yesterday, so click
here for the review, but you'll have to wait a little longer
to read a profile for the Kowloon Gundam.

Anime Expo New
York by Chris 12:02 P.M.
EST
Most anime fans probably know about Anime Expo New York,
which begins next weekend. As much as I'd like to go, I unfortunately
cannot. If anyone who plans on going is reading this, please let
me know. I'd be very happy if someone could write up a report on
the studio panels, and especially on Yoshiyuki Tomino's appearance.
So if you live in New York City or will be traveling there for the
convention, contact me in advance if you wish to submit a report.
Mecha Domain Mark
III by Lore 12:22 A.M.
EST
It's hard to believe, but it has been one year since Burke Rukes
entrusted the Mecha Domain to our care. Today, it has become far
more than just a tribute to the man who created it. It has taken
on a life of its own, possessing completely new material such as
the Gundam SEED section. A year ago, the vast number of pages
seemed daunting, but the work was well worth it. In the process,
we more than tripled the number of pages on our site and gained
many new fans. This time next year, who knows how big the section
will be.

The Falling Rain
by Chris 6:05 P.M. EST
Episode 11 of G Gundam aired today, so click
here for the review, or read the new profile for the Minaret
Gundam. Also, I've updated the reviews for episodes 17-37 with
the official episode titles. Of course, the ridiculous new names
have been replaced with the originals.

The Mummy's Cry
by Chris 6:38 P.M. EST
So we're now roughly 1/5 of the way through G Gundam
with CN's airing of episode 10 today. As always, click
here for the review, or check out the three new profiles for
the Pharaoh Gundam IV,
Feilong Gundam and
the Pharaoh Gundam XIII.
Also, Gundam.com's Char350 has donated a picture for Chapman's Britain
Gundam.
Dishonorable Gentleman
by Chris 12:29 A.M. EST
Yesterday, CN aired episode 9 of G Gundam, featuring former
champion Fighter Gentle Chapman. Click
here for the review as always, or check out the new profiles

Signs of SEED by
Chris 12:12 A.M. EST
More exclusive information on Gundam SEED is available, thanks
to the diligent efforts of Neo-Era. This time it's a 20 second promotional
video, and I've gotten ahold of it and made some screenshots of
it. Click on the top link and scroll down to the bottom of the page
to see the first screenshots of the series. Those who wish to download
the video can do so by clicking

Imagawa Report
by Chris 9:25 P.M. EST
The wait is over. Now up is the combined report by Lore, exZERO
and myself from Yasuhiro Imagawa's appearances in Texas and Florida,
complete with nice high resolution pictures taken by Lore. Check
it out in the newly renamed 'Conventions & Appearances' section
in the Features area. Also, episode 8 of G Gundam aired today,
so click here for
the review, or read the new profile for the Lumber
Gundam. Beware, for that profile contains information from later
in the series. Also, the Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED:
Astray sections have been updated with some new information,
mainly model numbers for suits.

Devil in a Blue
Dress by Chris 6:35 P.M.
EST
By now many people have seen yesterday's airing of G Gundam episode
6, which serves to explain the plot of the series. Click
here for the review, or read more about the Fantoma
and Busshi. What? No profile
for the Ultimate/Devil Gundam? Well, not yet because doing so would
spoil the entire series. Also, episode 7 aired today, so click
here for the review or check out the new profiles for the Tequila
Gundam and Pescatore.
Check back tomorrow for more profiles, as well as my report on Yasuhiro
Imagawa.

Trek X by Lore
1:00 A.M. EST
No, this isn't about the new movie, but rather about the annual
Star Trek convention held at Broward Community College in
Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Head on over to the Features section for the
report, including a transcript of Manu Intiraymi's (Icheb on Star
Trek Voyager) appearance.

Turn No More by
Chris 11:25 P.M. EST
It's a rare thing when I get to complete a Gundam section
with the final reviews. So today I hesitantly present reviews (with
screenshots) for episodes 48-50 of Turn A Gundam. Why the
hesitance? While I'm glad to finish the section, it's a shame that
Turn A is over. I still have the compilation movies to review,
but that's a little while off. Since this is the end for Turn
A, I'd like to thank Corben for giving me the entire series
to watch, as well as Mark Simmons for helping with the translations
of character and location names. With this section finished, I'm
going to take a break from reviews because I'm exhausted. Once reviews
begin again, I will probably focus on finishing Zeta Gundam and
Gundam ZZ. Until then I will probably dip into mecha profiles
here and there, especially with the Turn A section.
Speaking of mecha profiles,
there's a few Gundam SEED updates today. The information
page has been updated with information from September's issue of
Newtype, translated by Mark Simmons and RGZ-91. Also, there's
new profiles thanks to Neo-Era's searching abilities and Lore's
Photoshop skills. Check out these:
Archangel
(new pic)
GINN (new profile)
CGUE (new profile)
Zero (previously named
'Unidentified Mobile Armor')
Finally,
episode 5 of G Gundam aired today. Click
here for the review, or read more about the Bolt
Gundam.

Imagawa Teaser
by Lore 1:12 A.M. EST
Just to tease you a little for the upcoming report, I have a photo
of Mr. Imagawa signing a Shining Gundam action figure for Chris.
Mr. Imagawa was very entertaining to listen to and often humorous.
He spoke for over two hours about all aspects of anime, from commercial
to artistic. Check back over the weekend for more photos and as
well as the report.

Gundams and Chefs
by Chris 10:20 P.M. EST
I know I promised to finish Turn A Gundam today, but I became
preoccupied with the Yasuhiro Imagawa event. A full report is coming
this weekend, but very briefly I must say it was an interesting
event. Mr. Imagawa explained the origins of G Gundam and
discussed some of his projects, including the recent Seven of
Seven. In related news, episode 4 aired today. I thought George's
style was adequately captured, but I found Maria Louise's voice
to be quite annoying. Anyway, for more information click
here for the review. Or you can read up on the Gundam
Rose and see the new profile for the Arachno
Gundam.

Betrayal by Chris
7:32 P.M. EST
For today's update, check out the reviews (with screenshots) for
episodes 45-47 of Turn A Gundam. By this time tomorrow I
should complete the series. Also, all the profiles in the Turn
A mecha section have been slightly updated. Episode 3 of G
Gundam aired today and introduced Sai Sici. His voice was pretty
good, but I think he sounded too much like a little kid. Click
here for the review, or read more about the Dragon
Gundam.

The American Dream
by Chris 11:58 P.M. EST
Episode 2 of G Gundam aired today, introducing Neo
America's Gundam Fighter Chibodee Crocket. I thought his VA captured
the spirit of the character, but somehow it's just not going to
be as funny since he isn't speaking random Engrish words. For more
info, click here
to read about the episode. For more about today's suits, here's
the Gundam Maxter
and a new profile for the 29H-A-MS
Murphy.
Turn X Turn by
Chris 12:25 P.M. EST
Just as G Gundam is starting in the U.S., I'm close to finishing
the reviews for Turn A Gundam. In today's reviews (with screenshots)
for episodes 42-44, read about the Turn X and the infamous Black
History. Also, I'd like to make an announcement. G Gundam's
director Yasuhiro Imagawa will be in Miami on Thursday to speak
about anime at Florida International University. Lore and I will
be there to report on the event and ask questions. Gundam fan exZERO
was on hand at Imagawa's appearance in Texas, so look out for a
combined report with the questions from both events (and pictures).

The Gundam Fight
Returns by Chris 7:45 P.M.
EST
Well, today Cartoon Network broadcast the first episode of G
Gundam. Personally, I thought the dub was decent, but the Stalker
was simply horrible. Hopefully he'll improve with later episodes.
If you want more info on the today's episode or the suits in it,
review or read more about the Shining
Gundam or Neros Gundam.
Also, the box art for the series has been updated with the American
cover art, and Right Stuf purchasing links are up for the first
12 episodes. Please note that despite what Right Stuf says, the
DVD's are NOT dub only.

Century Color by
Chris 11:10 A.M. EST
For today's update, check out new reviews (with screenshots) for
episodes 38-41 of Turn A Gundam. In other news, we're just
a few days away from G Gundam's premiere on Cartoon Network.
When Mobile Suit Gundam aired last year, I found that many
people were referring to my reviews if they missed an episode or
couldn't tape it. Will, since I finished reviewing G Gundam a
long time ago, that resource is available for anyone who misses
episodes. Also, I will try to do daily mobile fighter profiles for
whatever Gundam appears in an episode on the day it airs.
