I am not a Bot by Dale 1:00 A.M. EST
In a continuing effort to prove I am not a bot, I am here to announce that we have a new home on IRC: irc.zirc.org. The applet has been updated to reflect this change.

Cup of Java by Dale 12:20 A.M. EST
We have recently, and unfortunately, learned that MIRC-X is down forever. The java applet has been changed to point to the irc.evilnet.net until our new home is found. We invite anyone to drop in our chat room to offer suggestions for a new host.

IRC Attack
by Chris 1:30 P.M. EST
Some
of you may have noticed that the #mahq IRC channel has been inaccessible
the last few days. This is due to a DDoS attack. Also, our former
home (and backup) Aniverse is down for the same reason. We have
temporarily relocated to irc.evilnet.net, and the channel is of
course #mahq. If MIRC-X ever comes back, we will presumably return
there.

Even
More SD Still by Chris 5:15 P.M.
EST
For
today's update, I've got new reviews for episodes
16-18 of SD Gundam Force. Also, as has been announced
on several other sites, the Zeta Gundam DVD collection has
been given a street date of September 7, 2004. You can be sure I'll
be buying those the day they're out. Also, the SEED DVDs
are expected to hit store shelves at around the same time.

Return
of the SD by Chris 11:55 P.M.
EST
For
one reason or another (including forgetting to set the VCR), the
reviews for SD Gundam Force have been on hold since September.
Well, today I present reviews for episodes
11-13. The rest of season 1 should come on a more timely basis
in the near future.

HGUC
Attack by Chris 9:40 P.M. EST
Despite
the headline, there is an MSiA review included in today's update.
Before we get to the list of reviews, I need to note a change in
the Model review submission guidelines. As of now, we will be taking
alternate angle reviews under one specific condition: please send
in an alternate angle only if you feel you can cover something that
wasn't covered in the original review, or if you have a drastically
different view of a kit you'd like to express. Instead of full reviews,
we'd like alternate angles to only cover those parts not already
covered in the original review. Now, on to business. Check out these
reviews:
by Jameson Leaser:
HGUC MS-06
Zaku II
HGUC MSZ-006 Zeta
Gundam
HGUC Operation
V Set
HGUC RX-178
Gundam Mk II
HGUC RX-178+FXA-05D
Super Gundam
by Ryukami:
MSiA RGM-79N GM Custom
Also, Jameson sent in new pictures for most of his earlier reviews.
Additionally, Hiddenpower has provided pictures for Kokopelli's
reviews of the Neue
Ziel and Gouf
Custom.

Update by Chris
11:35 P.M. EST
There's
been some developments recently in the wide world of Gundam.
By now, word has spread that Cartoon Network will begin airing Gundam
SEED starting April 17, 2004. Coincidentally, this date is
a short 10 days after the 25th anniversary of when the first episode
of the original series aired in Japan. In 1999, the 'Big Bang' celebration
in Japan brought us Turn A Gundam, so it's certain that
Bandai has something up their sleeve for this next big anniversary.
Now, on to business. KokopelliChindi, an #mahq regular, has sent
in 7 model reviews. They are:
1/100 MRC-F20 SUMO
MG MS-07B-3
Gouf Custom
MG RX-78GP01-Fb
Gundam "Zephyranthes" Full Vernian
MG RX-79[G]Ez-8
Gundam Ez8
NMM SYSTEM
∀-99
(WD-M01) ∀ Gundam
SD AMX-002 Neue Ziel
SD RX-78GP03 Gundam
"Dendrobium"
We also have a new category for the Perfect Grade line, thanks to
the following reviews:
by Gundam Enigma:
RX-78-2 Gundam
by SladeTekka:
MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam

And the tragedy plays through by Joel
11:48 P.M. EST
Well
folks, I’m trying to get these reviews up at a slightly faster
pace, but I’m not expecting miracles. Episodes
23-26 have been reviewed, which means we are now half way through
the series. Let’s keep our pants on folks, as we still have
a long road ahead.
