A New Foe by Chris
7:35 P.M. EST
It doesn't seem like there will be much SEED news for awhile,
so for now it's back to Turn A Gundam. Reviews (with screenshots)
for episodes 35-37 are now up.

Dummies Return
by Chris 3:07 P.M. EST
Since so much has changed in the world of Gundam,
I decided it was time to overhaul the Gundam For Dummies article.
Check out the newly renamed Gundam For Dummies: Mark III,
which features expanded explanations on every series, including
preliminary info on Gundam SEED.
The SEED Grows
by Chris 1:18 A.M. EST
More Gundam SEED information continues to pour in. Yesterday,
Sunrise updated the official site to include information on the
other four Gundams, as well as model numbers and brief descriptions
of their abilities. I've gone and updated the mecha section accordingly,
which means all the Gundams' file names have been changed and re-linked.
Feast your eyes on the newly re-christened:
GAT-X102
Duel Gundam
GAT-X103 Buster Gundam
GAT-X105 Strike Gundam
GAT-X207 Blitz Gundam
GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam

Bandai Chat by
Chris 2:05 P.M. EST
On Monday, the website Sequential
Tart held a chat with Bandai Entertainment's DVD producer, Charles
McCarter. I was in attendance, as were most of the #gundam regulars.
I've created a new Chat area in the Features section to archive
any chats that we will have with guests. Since this chat was hosted
by Sequential Tart, Neo-Era wrote up a detailed summary that was
posted on the GML and is now archived here.

Sowing the SEED
by Chris 10:45 P.M. EST
I didn't expect to have another Gundam SEED update for awhile,
but more information is now available. Thanks to magazine scans
posted to the GML, I now have pictures and profiles for all 5 of
the 'G' series of Gundams, as well as the battleships Archangel
and Vesalius and an unidentified mobile armor. Also,
the Gundam Astray has a new picture and has been moved into its
own section. Finally, the SEED anime section has been updated
with more character scans. Enjoy.

Into Space by Chris
8:13 P.M. EST
There's quite a few updates today. Various distractions have prevented
me from reviewing more Turn A Gundam, but today I have some
new reviews (with screenshots) for episodes 29-34. Also, you'll
notice a new link for Macross Zero. Like the SEED page,
it will be regularly updated with new information. You can now read
a basic plot summary and a see a scan from Newtype magazine.
Also, the policies regarding fanfics has been altered. Aside from
people who already have fanfics on the site, submissions will NOT
be accepted via e-mail. Authors are to now submit them in a new
area of the Forum devoted to fanfics. If we like a submission it
will eventually be archived on the site. This is effective immediately,
and any fanfic submissions from new authors will be deleted and
ignored.

We're Back by Chris
5:42 P.M. EST
We were out of action last week due to some server upgrades
and hard drive failures, but everything is back to normal now. You
can now read my reviews (with screenshots) for episodes 41-44 of
Zeta Gundam. Also, with the help of Mark Simmons I have much
more information on Gundam SEED, so check that page for more
details. I've also created more mecha profiles and reorganized the
mecha page for the
series. Also, Lore took some higher quality pictures of the G-5
Strike Gundam from the website and I've replaced the Newtype
scans with these pictures.

More SEED by Chris
11:22 A.M. EST
In the first of today's updates, I have some new Gundam SEED
info courtesy again of Neo-Era and RGZ-91. This time the news
covers the show's start date, manga publications and model kits.
Also, the Gundam Astray has been revealed as another mobile suit,
and I already have a picture of it and a mecha profile. I'll be
back again later with some reviews, though I haven't decided for
which series yet.

Macross Returns
by Chris 11:31 P.M. EST
It's been a long time, but I've got a big Macross update
for today. The first is two new mecha sections: one for Macross
Plus and the other for the new OVA series Macross Zero.
Also, I've updated the Macross anime section and created
a page for Macross Zero. It is set up like the Gundam
SEED page and contains all the latest info on the project. My
thanks go out to Jameson Leaser for providing all the Macross
Plus pics. Also, fan artist RancorClaw has struck again with
more custom lineart for:
MS-06A Zaku
II First Mass Production Type (from MSV)

Minor Tidbits by
Chris 10:51 P.M. EST
I've got a few minor updates this time. First, Neo-Era has
sent in the latest version of his Gundam Rumor FAQ, which
features items on Turn A Gundam and a new entry for Gundam
SEED. Second, fan artist RancorClaw has modified some of Mark
Simmons' lineart to create a new picture of the RX-78-6 Gundam Mudrock
in the Zeonic Front section. Check it out because it's much
better than the old picture.
SEED mania continues
by Lore 3:02 P.M. EST
Continuing the trend of MAHQ being the primary source for all information
on Gundam SEED, I have whipped up some new images.
They include a new mascot and new logo art for both the main page
and the Gundam Anime page, new logo art for the Gundam
Mecha page, as well as a custom Gundam SEED box for the Gundam
Anime page.

Minor SEED update
by Chris 11:32 P.M. EST
This time there's no major update. The links that previously
had the Newtype scans are dead now, so I've gone and uploaded
them here and re-linked them.
Major SEED update
by Chris 12:40 P.M. EST
There's lots more info available on Gundam SEED courtesy
of Neo-Era. Read all the news in the SEED section and check
out my preliminary mecha profile for the G-5 Strike Gundam in the
mecha area.

Gundam Housekeeping
by Chris 11:06 A.M. EST
Today's update is a confused little mess of everything. First up
is a new section for Gundam SEED, which can be easily accessed
from the top of this page. All new information relating to the series
will be placed there. Second, I've gone and replaced the titles
for episodes 1-16 of G Gundam with the official American
ones. Be sure to catch the show starting August 5 and 5:30 P.M.
Finally, some minor mecha updates:
From MSV:
RGC-80-1 GM Cannon Test
Type (added custom lineart by RancorClaw)
From Zeonic
Front:
MS-05S Zaku I Commander
Type (changed listing)
RX-78-6 Gundam
Mudrock (full specs)

Newtype Magazine
Confirms Gundam SEED! by Chris
6:16 P.M. EST
The next issue for the Japanese Newtype magazine
confirms that the latest series is indeed titled Mobile Suit
Gundam SEED. The name of the title mobile suit is the G-5 Strike
Gundam, and the main character's name is Kira Yamato (female?).
Click
here to see the Newtype page (in Japanese). Look at the
cover and note the Gundam seen in the lower righthand corner. A
blurry close-up can be found here.
This Newtype cover seems to match an earlier profile picture
that was posted here.
No other info is available right now about the show. Credit again
goes to the ingenious Neo-Era.
Gundam SEED? by
Chris 12:39 A.M. EST
Recent discussions on the Gundam Mailing List have focused heavily
on the new series that is in production. Some topics have focused
on the website Gundam
SEED, which currently displays one of those 'under construction'
messages. Some detective work by GML members Neo-Era and Minovsky-Ionesco
reveals that the Gundam SEED website was registered by Bandai, and
the whois registration information matches records for show websites
like Tomino's Overman King Gainer. Click
here to read the archived GML post with more details. Whether
this is the title for the new series or some other project by Bandai
is unknown.

Nuclear Armageddon
by Chris 8:48 P.M. EST
For today's update I present reviews (with screenshots) for episodes
26-28 of Turn A Gundam. Also, as of today Jason O's website
Gundamwatch has officially shut down. I'm sad to see it go, as Jason
built a good community and his site had a lot of potential. The
Links page has been slightly reorganized and updated.
