Virus Alert by Chris 11:04 P.M. EST I guess it's a sign that someone either really likes you or really hates you when they use you in virus spamming. Some genius sent the following e-mails to my MAHQ e-mail account:
From 'mail@mahq.net': Dear Mahq Member,
Your e-mail account was used to send a huge amount of unsolicited spam messages during the recent week. If you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your online experience and confirm the attached document so you will not run into any future problems with the online service.
If you choose to ignore our request, you leave us no choice but to cancel your membership.
Virtually yours,
The Mahq Support Team

Then there's this one from 'webmaster@mahq.net':
Dear user chris,
It has come to our attention that your Mahq User Profile ( x ) records are out of date. For further details see the attached document.
Thank you for using Mahq!
The Mahq Support Team
+++ Attachment: No Virus found
+++ Mahq Antivirus - www.mahq.net
Both of these e-mails included an attachment named 'readme.zip', which is infected with (Win32:Mytob-FH [Wrm]), according to avast! Antivirus.
Please note that both of these e-mails are FAKE. There is no 'MAHQ Support Team', and those two e-mail addresses don't exist. If you receive these e-mails or any others claiming to be from MAHQ with attachments, please delete them. The staff of MAHQ will NEVER send you unsolicited e-mails with attachments. If you are using an e-mail program like Microsoft Outlook, please be sure you have an antivirus program to scan your incoming e-mail. Avast! is effective and has a free version if you need an antivirus. If by chance you open one of these attachments and are infected, use an antivirus program to fix the problem. Don't send me any e-mails saying you are infected, because there is nothing I can do to help you. Thank you.
