Gundam 00 lineart by Chris 11:58 A.M. EST
Today's update is pretty light, with new lineart for all four Gundams from Gundam 00, courtesy of crashandburn. They're not the best quality, but they show the Gundams in standard lineart poses. Higher quality art should be available soon.

Bye Bye Nadesico by Chris 12:28 P.M. EST
The model update is taking a bit longer than expected, so it will probably show up next week. In the meantime, here's some other stuff, starting with Scott's review for the Nadesico movie, The Prince of Darkness. And when you read the review, yes, that really is the score. After a short break, Scott will return to review GAINAX's new mecha series, Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann. Also, since it's Thursday, it's time for the usual Mailbag. As usual, keep those questions coming. Also, there's an update to the Gundam 00 mecha section, with information courtesy of Deacon Blues.

It doesn't happen often, but another series comes to a close this week with Scott's review of Nadesico episodes 23-26. After reviewing the movie, Scott will be taking some time off before starting his next series. An announcement on that will be forthcoming.

Enter the Excia by Chris 12:39 P.M. EST
With the announcement of more details about Gundam 00, we now have enough information to create preliminary sections. Information about the show can be found in its anime section, while a mecha section contains a profile for the Gundam Excia. Expect another update today, covering the end of Nadesico.

The Name is 00, Gundam 00 by Chris 6:49 P.M. EST
You've probably heard the news today about the announcement of the new TV series Mobile Suit Gundam 00. It goes without saying that we'll be covering this show when it premieres in October. As a pre-emptive statement, please don't send me Mailbag or other questions about 00. I don't have inside information, so I can't tell you anything beyond what's already been revealed. However, if you want to discuss this new series, we have an official thread on Mecha Talk. One warning though - we don't want to see any judgment calls, whining or complaining. One 14-second trailer certainly isn't enough to judge this series by, so keep any of those thoughts to yourself. Also, I had announced in April plans to review Orguss and Patlabor. That will still happen, but not any time soon. Since it falls to me to cover the anime and manga sections for Gundam 00, the new Macross series and VOTOMS: Pailsen Files, don't expect those other sections for a long time. However, Gasaraki and Code Geass are still on track and won't be affected by these new shows.

With that out of the way, it's on to today's updates. First up, Scott has sent in reviews covering episodes 16-22 of Nadesico. Next up, Dustin delivers episode 15 of Zone of the Enders. Peter follows the video game theme with a review for episode 19 of Super Robot Wars. Also, the Cybuster anime joins the ranks of SRW with Peter's review of episode 1. There's also new lineart up, starting with the ReZEL, Gundam F91 (Harrison colors) and BEE-CRAFT Strike Noir, all courtesy of Red Zaku. There's also new lineart for the Wing Gundam, courtesy of Deacon Blues. The next update will finish off the Ideon TV series. After that, it's time to clean out the model review backlog, so if you've sent something in, sit tight - your turn is coming.
