More
Macross by Chris 11:38 P.M. EST
For
today's update I've got a few Macross items. First, there's
newly re-written reviews (with screenshots) for episodes 13-16 of
the original series. Next up is a mecha section for Air Cavalry
Chronicles, with pictures courtesy of Jameson Leaser. While
not a true Macross design series, it is related. These
designs, which consist of some originals and some recycled Advanced
Valkyrie designs, were originally for the project that evolved
into Escaflowne. Many of these designs have since appeared
in Macross 7 and other projects. Finally, Jameson has sent
in an updated version of the Big List for Macross.

ZAFT mecha, along with a new picture for the Sky Grasper with Aile

Attention
Pato Fans by Corben 8:53 P.M. EST
If you've looked at our Patlabor section
you might have notice that it was a tad bit disorganized. The Patlabor
section is being completely redone starting with the first OVA,
Movie I, and the TV series. Expect to see new profiles for mecha
in those sections shortly and The New Files OVA, Movie II, WXIII
and the manga sections to be updated soon after. With these new
updates we need new lineart as well as extensive info on Labors
and other advanced mecha featured in Movie II, WXIII and the manga.
We are looking for lineart and specs, not profiles. If you would
like to help you can send any pics or info via e-mail to mahqmecha@bellsouth.net.
Please use the subject line "Patlabor mecha", as anything
else will be automatically deleted. Also, please do not submit questions
to this address as it's only for mecha info and picture submissions
only. Any info must include a source and will be verified as best
as possible. If you submit false info or are spamming this address
you will simply be ignored. When you submit please give large, quality
pictures. It is preferred that official lineart be submitted but
your own art may be submitted. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT SOMEONE ELSE'S
ARTWORK. Also, if you wish to be thanked in any update that uses
stuff that you submit please indicate in the e-mail and give me
a name to thank you by. If your own personal artwork is used you
will be credited on the profile page. Please do not expect to be
thanked if you submit scanned line art. We cannot thank everyone
and some people might submit the same lineart, so don't get mad
if someone is thanked for something that you also submitted. If
you wish to talk to me in real time you can find me in our chatroom
using the nickname "Corben." I am usually available there
on the weekends and on weeknights Eastern Standard Time USA.
Mecha Marathon by Chris 8:45 P.M. EST
I've got loads of new profiles that are now in Burke's
Mobile Weapons format. I don't feel like listing them all here,
so you can see what's new by checking the Mobile Weapons and Fighting
Spaceships pages. Credit for the Gundam and MSV profiles
goes to RGZ-91 and Ryukami, while the Zeonic Front profiles
are courtesy of WhiteWolf and the updated Silhouette F91 and
Gundam F90 profiles are courtesy of Mark064.

I
have no Work Ethic by TheNobleGundam
3:08 P.M. EST
I know it has been nearly two years sense my last reviews, and I’m
sorry. But due to the fact that I’m incredibly lazy and there
has been a lot of stuff going on in my life I haven’t done
much reviewing. So after all this time here are sessions 3 and 4
of Cowboy Bebop. Also, Chris has made screenshots for sessions
2-4.

Sad
Day for Mecha Fans by Chris 10:07 P.M.
EST
It's
been recently announced that Japanese voice actress Inoue You died
on February 28 from an unspecified type of cancer. Though most may
not recognize her by name, they'd certainly recognize her work,
including many series featured here. She's probably most famous
for playing Sayla Mass/Artesia Deikun in various incarnations of
Gundam, but she also was featured in Patlabor as
Kanuka Clancy, as well as Gepernitch in Macross 7.
