DESTINY Squared by Chris 1:15 P.M. EST
Dave Skinner has sent in some additional improved lineart, covering DESTINY, DESTINY-MSV, DESTINY ASTRAY, SEED-MSV and ASTRAY R. Crossbone Vanguard also sent in some new lineart for the Dagger L.

On another note, it pains me to have to make this kind of post. I am serious about my statements regarding the DESTINY reviews, and I'm saying now that harassment is unacceptable and will not produce any desirable results for anyone involved. Because of this, I'm forced to implement a new measure. Every time someone sends me an e-mail about DESTINY reviews, the reviews will be delayed by a week. This is all thanks to a juvenile, harassing letter sent by "Buck Rogers." If this new policy bothers you, you can send him an e-mail at darthjota@yahoo.com to express your displeasure at his childish behavior. In 5 years I've never had to resort to doing this, but this situation is unacceptable. I hope this is the last time I have to make this kind of post.

DESTINY's Destiny by Chris 8:35 P.M. EST
Lineart contributor Dave Skinner has sent in improved lineart and some custom pieces covering most of DESTINY's early designs, along with DESTINY-MSV. While I'm on the subject of DESTINY, no more than four days ago I made a clear statement two posts below this. DO NOT ASK ME ABOUT DESTINY REVIEWS. Despite that statement, I am still receiving just as many e-mails asking about the reviews. I'm not sure how I can state it more plainly. However, I will not feel compelled to crank out reviews simply because people are complaining about their absence.

Gundam: The Novels by Chris 4:15 P.M. EST
Although we don't cover books here anymore, this is a special exception. Check out my review for Awakening, the first in Yoshiyuki Tomino's trilogy of Gundam novels. Although the trilogy is published as one trade paperback, I'm splitting the reviews into one for each novel. My thanks go out to Stone Bridge Press for providing a review copy. Also, Nader has sent in lineart for DESTINY's Astray Shrike and Murasame.

A Few Items by Chris 12:52 A.M. EST
As it is Friday, Ben Davis' latest column is now available. There's a new SEED DESTINY profile of the Destroy Gundam and a DESTINY-MSV profile for the Command ZAKU CCI, both with lineart courtesy of Mark064.

On another note, I've been getting a lot of e-mails asking me about DESTINY reviews. As is usual in these cases, I will refer to the FAQ:

Q: When will _________ section be completed?
A:
This question is almost totally pointless, because we have no set plan or firm dates for when an area will be completed. We have to make the website fit in to our busy schedules as best as we can, so things can't always be updated so quickly. If a section isn't finished it's because we don't have the materials to finish it or are too busy to work on it. Basically, we'll get to it when we get to it.

There you have it. Please DO NOT send me e-mails to ask me about why I haven't written reviews or when I will be writing new reviews. Thank you.

Today's update is a call for helps of sort. I'm looking to create a mecha section for the classic series Genesis Climber Mospeada. I need assistance from dedicated fans who would be willing to donate lineart scans and specs from this series. Anyone who wishes to contribute these materials should e-mail me.

New Server, Interview, Licensing by Chris 9:57 P.M. EST
I've got a big update today, but I'm going to start with some news. The site experienced some downtime this weekend due to an upgrade to a new server. Because of that, most readers probably haven't seen the March 3 update. For today's new material, I've got a profile for the new Destiny Gundam with lineart courtesy of Kosh.

I'm also posting my exclusive interview with Bandai's Jerry Chu. Of most interest to Gundam fans is a licensing announcement for the SEED compilation specials and DESTINY for release in the U.S. later this year. Click the above link for the whole interview.

All Sorts of Things by Chris 12:05 P.M. EST
There are many updates today, so I'm going to start with the small stuff and move up. First, there's the weekly update of the Mailbag, which seems to now be a Friday tradition. Next up, there's a lot of new Victory Gundam lineart which is too numerous to list here, but you'll know it when you see it. Finally, today marks the rollout of the first batch of DESTINY profiles in Burke's Mobile Weapons format. They are:

GAT-02L2 Dagger L
GAT-02L2+AQM/E-A4E1 Jet Dagger L
GAT-04 Windam
GAT-04+AQM/E-A4E1 Jet Windam
UMF/SS0-3 Ash
YFX-M56 Core Splendor
ZGMF-1000 ZAKU Warrior
ZGMF-1000/A1 Gunner ZAKU Warrior
ZGMF-1000/M Blaze ZAKU Warrior
ZGMF-X23S Saviour Gundam
ZGMF-X56S Impulse Gundam
ZGMF-X56S/α Force Impulse Gundam
ZGMF-X56S/β Sword Impulse Gundam
ZGMF-X56S/γ Blast Impulse Gundam
ZGMF-X88S Gaia Gundam

Now for some notes and reminders to finish everything off. My thanks go out to Mark Simmons for providing additional specs, corrections, and clarifications. There is a new profile for the Doppelhorn Dagger L, thanks to the addition of a model number for its Doppelhorn Striker pack. Also, the "130 meter", "250 meter" and "carrier" ships have all been re-designated as Drake class, Nelson class and Tarawa class respectively. I'd also like to thank Draco Starcloud for sending in custom lineart of the ZAKU Phantom without the Blaze Wizard pack. Finally, as a reminder, today is the last day to submit questions for the Robot Roundtable.
