Chronicling a lost war by Chris 6:20 P.M. EST Today's update consists of several items. First, I've opened up a section for the Lost War Chronicles manga with a review of volume 1. Second, I've opened a section for the Ecole du Cielmanga, with reviews coming soon. Thanks go out to Kuruni (aka Aurabattler) for the banner image. Kuruni also sent in some new lineart for Dragonarand SPT Layzner. I've also opened the mecha section for the Apocalypse 0079OVA lineart and specs courtesy of Deacon Blues. Finally, there's some lineart for Stargazer's Strike Noir, which was found by AmuroNT1 and cleaned up by Mark064. It's not the best lineart there is, but a new and improved piece should show up soon.
On another note, I've created a Mailbag Drop Box in the Forums. Here, you can submit questions for me to answer in the Mailbag. Of course, I'll still accept submissions via e-mail, but this is simply another option to use.

Rise, Shining Gundam! by Chris 6:40 P.M. EST Now that the Forum is up, it's time to get back to regular content updates. The Forum has only been live for about 6 hours, but so far I'm very pleased with its progress. I didn't emphasize this in my previous post, but the new Forum is meant to be a clean slate for everyone in the community. Whatever happened on the previous board or elsewhere is gone. Anyway, back to the update. I've posted a review for volume 1 of the G Gundam manga.
Mecha Talk Begins Talking by Chris 12:09 P.M. EST After many dark years with ezboard, I'm happy to finally announce a major upgrade to MAHQ: the new Forum. Dubbed Mecha Talk, the new Forum is accessible via the standard Forum link in our sidebar. It's also available separately through mahqforum.com and .net, as well as mechatalk.com. Because this new Forum runs on different software, all current members will have to re-register their accounts. As I originally noted in February, the old Forum will stay active until April 1 to allow members to transition to the new Forum. However, starting today, the old Forum will be a no man's land with no supervision by staff. It's recommended that you wrap up any discussions there quickly and move over to the new Forum. On April 1, the old Forum will be completely deleted.
At this time, I'd like to make a few notes. First, Dale and I would like to express our gratitude to Ben, who did a knockout job configuring the Forum in a very short amount of time. I'd also like to thank Corey for helping to set up the rules and procedures that will allow the Forum to run smoothly. I'd also like to thank our new Moderators who will be staffing the Forum. Each of them is a long-time contributor to MAHQ in one way or another, and I'm glad to have them aboard. In what is clearly a shameless plug, most of our new Moderators come from our IRC channel, so be sure to visit #mahq at irc.zirc.org. Also, you'll notice a spiffy new logo on the Forum. That design will serve as our official logo when the site is re-designed. Thanks go out to Damian Fuentes for designing the logo. Lastly, I'd like to thank all the visitors who make this site possible. I hope you enjoy the Forum.
