MAHQ Turkey Day by Chris 12:35 P.M. EST
I've got a few new model reviews for today's Thanksgiving update, which will also be the last update until around mid-December. It may seem like a long time to go without an update, but next month should prove to be quite busy with lots of new things in the works. Anyway, let's get down to business with these reviews:

From Hiddenpower:
SD MSZ-006A1 Zeta Plus A1
SD XM-X1 (F97) Crossbone Gundam X-1
SD XM-X2 (F91) Crossbone Gundam X-2

From lalahsghost:
1/100 SYSTEM ∀-99 (WD-M01) ∀ Gundam

Also, I'd like to thank everyone for their e-mails in regards to the previous update. I've been rather backlogged lately, so I haven't had a chance to reply to everyone yet, but I will soon. Also, due to the e-mail problems I've had for most of this month, I'm going to need people to re-send anything they might have given me between November 1 and the last update. This is especially necessary if you sent me any model reviews during this period. As far as model reviews go, I need the following people to send theirs again: TheCrimsonFury and Winn Sevilla. See you next month.

Announcement by Chris 11:55 P.M. EST
By now it's apparent that November has been a slow month for MAHQ, and it seems like it will remain that way. My home was burglarized and ransacked over the weekend, so because of this I have a lot of work to do. Therefore, don't expect any updates in the near future.

Not the Typical SDG... by Chris 7:30 P.M. EST
Today's update is rather light but important nonetheless. Neo-Era has sent in the latest strip in his continuing comic New Adventures of Tomino-sama. It's great, so check it out.

Random News by Chris 10:05 P.M. EST
There's a few news items to report this time, but unfortunately no new content. First, my e-mail has been inaccessible for the last week. I don't know yet if I've actually received anything from the last week, but in the meantime please don't send anything. Secondly, my house is being tented for termites later in the week, so I won't have any Internet access at all. Whatever backlog I've accumulated is sure to get even bigger now.

The next piece of news isn't site-related. Some may be familiar with Video Store Magazine, a publication distributed to retail stores that covers the latest news and industry developments. In a recent article on Bandai, some interesting tidbits are offered on their plans for 2004:

Second- and third-quarter offerings will include the critically acclaimed Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and episodes of the Wolf’s Rain TV series, as well as Gundam SEED, which will spearhead a relaunch of the Gundam franchise. The titles will be strategically timed to coincide with the summer anime convention season, which often draws up to 16,000 consumers.

Well, that certainly provides at least an expected timeframe for SEED, along with GitS and Wolf's Rain, which are both highly anticipated by fans. The 'relaunch of the Gundam franchise' hints at a massive media blitz of shows and items. Though the story doesn't mention Zeta or F91, they presumably are part of this relaunch along with SEED.
