Surprise! by Lore
9:26 P.M. EST
This site is getting further
away from a mecha theme as I introduce the third western series
to be reviewed, Outlaw Star. Check out my review of episode
1, complete with screenshots, in the Shows section.

Cowboy Bebop by
Chris 10:45 P.M. EST
No, I'm not reviewing
Cowboy Bebop, but our newest staff member Brolly
is. If anyone has read our news and noticed my cryptic messages
about a new series, this is it. We open up the new section with
Brolly's review for Session 1. More will be coming soon. Speaking
of cryptic messages, we have yet another new series in the works,
but I won't let that cat out of the bag. All I'll say is it's a
surprise from Lore.
Mad Ranting by
Chris 9:27 A.M. EST
Yes, it's mad ranting
day. First, there's a new rant in the Rants area called "The
State Of Gundam", which recently finished its run on About.com.
Also, there is a new rant on About.com, and you can read it by Clicking
Here.

The End of Eagle
Week by Chris 12:10 A.M.
EST
No, it's not the end of
Eagle, but it's the end of my week of 5 consecutive reviews.
Just by adding up the numbers, you can guess that today's review
is for volume 5. As soon as I get some more Eagle later next
week, I'll review it. As for what's next, I'll probably finish up
those Macross 7 screenshots.

FAHQ Banner by
Lore 4:05 P.M. EST
Because of the persistent
requests of Chris to make an FAHQ banner of some sort, I have done
so. If you wish to place our banner on your site, you can find a
sample of it and the code necessary in the About section.
Even More Eagle
by Chris 12:13 A.M. EST
The week of Eagle
continues with my review for volume 4. After covering number 5,
I'll be moving on to something else for awhile. Maybe a new show,
but I'm not sure yet. By the way, Lore added a new mascot to the
Links section. Who is it? Well, since it's the Links section, who
else could it be but Link himself?

Amazing Disappearing
FAHQ by Chris 11:51 A.M.
EST
Yes, we did disappear
for almost two days because of server trouble, but that's been resolved
now. Well, now it's time to get back to work. For today's update
I have my delayed review for volume 3 of Eagle. Check it
out.

Eagle and More
by Chris 10:10 A.M. EST
Today there's plenty of things I have to get by. First, a review
is up for volume 2 of Eagle in the Comics section. Now let
me get to some things I forgot yesterday. Lore had promised a Chat
feature, but we've decided to hold off on that and see how the Forum
does first. Also, I've updated the contest to add a new benefit
to the winner: forum moderator. Lastly, we're looking for errors
that may have arisen from such a massive update of the site. If
you happen to spot any, report them to Lore.

Frames and Forums
and... by Chris 12:19 A.M.
EST
Well, we've been doing a lot of work behind the scenes, but it's
paid off. All 300 or so of our pages have completely been redone
in frames, and that was no easy task for Lore. Also, Lore added
a forum, which has been often requested by visitors. Now you can
speak your mind and discuss things about our site. I've been doing
some work myself in the background. Just in time for Election 2000
is my coverage of the manga Eagle: The Making Of An Asian-American
President. I'm opening the section in with a review for volume
1 in the newly renamed Comics section. One other thing that has
changed is some section names. The purpose of this is to make them
broader for future expansion, such as live action shows. Also, the
contest is still running and entries are coming in, so keep sending
them. Well, now that our new forum is up, why not discuss the changes
to the site? Also, please report any errors to Lore.

A Real Review by
Chris 10:42 P.M. EST
Wow! Believe it or not, we actually -review- things here! This time
there's no new screen grabs or mascots, but a good old fashioned
review. I've opened up the Gundam 0079 section in the Manga
area with a review for volume 1. Let me also elaborate a bit on
what Lore and I are planning. We definitely will be switching out
the entire site to frames. This will make our lives much easier
in regards to updating. And we will finally have a Forum and Chat
area. Also, we will be reorganizing the menu a bit to expand for
future updates, including even live action shows. Also, there's
a new anime series being reviewed in the background, but I won't
say a word about it yet.

Current Plans by
Lore 4:51 P.M. EST
Over the past several days, I have been working on overhauling the
site using frames. This will make our updates much speedier in the
future, which translates into more content for our fans! The conversion
should be completed by Monday. New additions you should notice by
then are a message board and a chat room. In the meantime, I have
two new mascots: Ghaleon from the Lunar series and Sakura
from Cardcaptor Sakura. Now, nearly every section has one.
The contest is also going quite well, so keep sending in those reviews!

FAQ Update by Chris
10:31 A.M. EST
It's a minor update, but I've reorganized the FAQ into two main
sections: General Site Questions, and Specific Series Questions.
The first questions in the new area are about Macross, so
be sure to read it if you're a fan of the series.

New Mascots by
Lore 2:44 A.M. EST
Three sections now have new mascots in the upper left corners. The
new mascots are Naga, The Joker, and Vash. You can find them in
the Slayers, Rants, and Trigun sections respectively.

A Lunatic's Work,
Continued by Chris 10:54
A.M. EST
For today's update I have
20 new screenshots rom Macross 7, which covers episodes 21-30.
Having to pop in this episodes nearly drove me mad, so I hope to
finish the screenshots for this series soon before they do.

New Dragon Ball
by Chris 12:06 A.M. EST
Yesterday, Viz released
volume 2 of the Dragon Ball manga, and I immediately grabbed
a copy of it. Today you get to read my review for it. As far is
this series goes, I'll probably kill the time until volume 3 comes
out by reviewing volume 17, which is the start of Dragon Ball
Z. Also, the Lore Store has been updated to include all the
products I've reviewed in the Manga section.

The Big Contest
by Chris 2:13 P.M. EST
Yes, that's right, we're
running a contest. The website is becoming rather like a behemoth
now, and we're looking for some new writers. The best submitted
review wins, and its writer joins our staff. For more details, see
the link above.
A New Feature by
Chris 10:13 A.M. EST
To those who take notice
of the time, let me just say that there's no X-Files reference
hidden there. Anyway, today I take a brief depature from the standard
review and offer an article called "The Road To FAHQ: A Retrospective."
As the title suggests, it's a look back at the creation of this
site and a chronicle of our first six months online. Check it out
in the About section.

Slayers Return
by Chris 3:27 P.M. EST
After a long absence,
our reviewer Miaka
returns with more reviews. Today I'm uploading her reviews for episodes
2-3 of Slayers. Be on the lookout for more from her in the
near future.

New Sections by
Lore 12:51 A.M. EST
Now you will see why we
haven't been updating as much as usual lately. We have been hard
at work on a Manga section and an About section. The Manga section
features reviews of Cardcaptor Sakura, Dragon Ball,
Gundam: Blue Destiny , and Fushigi Yugi. The About
section contains answers to questions we are frequently asked. We
hope you enjoy these new additions!

New Rant by Lore
2:56 P.M. EST
There is a new rant by
Chris, in the Rants section, which reveals the hypocrisies of Planet
Namek and the Anti-Ep movement. This rant was also submitted to
Pro-Ep as an editorial for their website.

Piracy Update by
Chris 10:44 P.M. EST
Earlier this evening I
received an email from the webmaster of Trigun Neo. In it, she apologized
for her theft of our reviews and complied with our request to take
down the reviews. Hopefully this will be a message to anyone who
has their eyes on our reviews.
Current Plans by
Chris 11:02 A.M. EST
With the new months comes
new sections and more reviews. Currently, we are working on a general
information section called 'About', as well as a Manga section.
Also, you may have noticed the Pro-Ep banner in the corner. We have
joined the Pro-Ep Alliance to prevent Planet Namek and its organization
Anti-Ep from shutting down full episode sites. In the meantime,
we're going to get some reviews for those new sections and continue
our efforts to shut down that crappy Trigun site that stole
our reviews.
