SEED Online by
Chris 5:46 P.M. EST
A recent Yahoo
story reveals that Bandai will be broadcasting each of the 52 episodes
of Gundam SEED on the internet for free the day after it
airs on TV. Thanks go out to Andrew Tei of Anime on DVD.com for
pointing out the story. I've reorganized the SEED anime page
in preparation for the show's release. You can expect my reviews
of the series to appear as soon as I can get my hands on the episodes.

Chat Stuff and
a New Button by Lore 1:06 A.M. EST
The new button next to the logo is a solution for many fans who
complained about the automatic redirect. Now, the redirects are
optional for people who click links in search engines. It's a new
week, so the chat statistics for the previous week are now updated.
In addition, Corben has added and modified quite a bit to the Chat
section. Finally, I am also changing my e-mail to Lore_MAHQ@hotmail.com,
effective immediately.

They Call Me MISTER
Gundam by Chris 7:40 P.M. EST
I've got a large update today, but first it's time for an announcement.
As of next Monday, I am switching my e-mail address to rand_wt@yahoo.com.
After Monday I will no longer be responding to e-mail from my Hotmail
account. If you send mail to that account after Monday, well, too
bad for you.
Now, let's move on to
the updates. First, there's plenty of new video game related Gundam
mecha sections, thanks to the efforts of Corben, Mark064 and
RGZ-91. The new sections are as follows: Lost War Chronicles,
Federation VS Zeon DX. In other game related updates, Mark
Simmons has provided official lineart for the Mudrock Gundam from
Zeonic Front and Lost War Chronicles. From the Japanese
magazine Gundam Ace, check out the new section Char's
Deleted Affair. Also, there's been a lot of updates in the Gundam:
The Origin. New pics are courtesy of TKrys, edited by Ryukami
and Lore. The Gundam the Ride section has also been updated.
There's also been various
updates to the Gundam SEED section, including a new pic for
the dog-ish BuCUE and a new profile for the Mistral. In the Macross
section, several readers have pointed out that the YF-19's Gerwalk
and Fighter pictures were actually from the VF-19 Kai, so Jameson
Leaser was kind enough to provide the correct pics. Also, a new
Battroid pic is available for the VF-0 from the new Macross Zero
OVA.

Earth Light by
Chris 11:25 P.M. EST
I've been absent from the scene for awhile due to computer upgrades,
but luckily Lore has been able to handle things in my place. As
a result of my absence, I'm behind on profiles for G Gundam and
reviews for Gundam ZZ, but I'll get back to that soon. In
the meantime, check out my review (with screenshots) for the recent
compilation movie Turn A Gundam I: Earth Light.

The Mascot Machine
by Lore 7:22 P.M. EST
Machineman surprised me again recently, by supplying mascots for
every section that didn't have one. Those sections were Lost
Universe, Vampire Princess Miyu, and Outlaw Star.
A big thanks goes out to him for helping to make the site more complete.

#MAHQ Chat Statistics
by Lore 11:27 P.M. EST
To encourage user participation, I have added a user statistics
page in the Chat section. This comes courtesy of our #MAHQ chat
moderator Corben, who logs the chats each and every day. The statistics
will be updated every Saturday night.
Mecha Corrections
by Lore 3:12 P.M. EST
I received an e-mail from Mika Akitaka, a mecha designer for many
different Gundam series, alerting me that we incorrectly
credited Hajime Katoki for designing the MS-14F Gelgoog Marine,
MS-14Fs Gelgoog Marine Commander Type, and MS-21C Dra-C, all from
Gundam: 0083. He is now properly credited for those mecha.
In addition, loyal MAHQ fan and forum member Machineman has personally
designed mascots for Dragon's Heaven, Megazone 23,
and Patlabor in the Mecha section.

Today I have added full color shots of the Aegis Gundam in mobile
armor mode and mobile armor attack mode. I have also added the Duel
Gundam in full armor mode and a new ZAFT suit called the BuCUE.
By the way, Chris is in the process of upgrading his computer this
week and will not be updating until next week. Finally, episode
26 of G Gundam airs today, so click here
to check out the review.

America
Will See the Sign by Chris
11:10 P.M. EST
Signs? No, not the movie from that guy who did The Sixth Sense.
Probably sometime next year America will see the sign of Zeta, as
in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. Anime on DVD confirmed Bandai's
announcement of Zeta Gundam at Anime Expo New York. No other
details are available now, but given past releases, here's what
I expect: the series runs 50 episodes, so you can probably expect
it to be spread evenly on 10 DVD's. Also, I would expect that it's
set for broadcast next summer on Cartoon Network. However, until
more is known, this is pure speculation. I will post more info as
soon as it's available.
