Model Reviews by Chris 5:59 P.M. EST For today's update, I'm cleaning up some of the backlog of model reviews. Check out the following reviews:
The Return by Burke 9:40 P.M. EST Hello everyone! Burke Rukes, checking in! I want to assure everyone
that rumors of my Newtype transcendence (read "death") were greatly exaggerated.
I'm alive and well, and making a bit of a comeback to the online Gundam fan community. For those of you who don't know me or remember me, I was the original Webmaster & creator of the old Mecha Domain Web site,
which I retired from and handed off to the fine folks here at MAHQ about 2 or 3 years ago. I want to first congratulate Chris and the whole crew and all of the contributors who have kept up the traditions of my old Mecha Domain. Yes, I have been checking in from time to time on you guys. Keep up the good work! After taking such a LONG time off from being an active online Gundam fan, I've decided to get my toes wet
again and start on a couple of new projects.
First of all, I'm writing a serious, long-term Gundam fanfic story. The title is Mobile Suit Gundam Revolution (or Gundam-R, for short), and my goal
with the story is to start off with a chilling reflection of these troubled current times, and take off in a direction that might possibly happen someday in the real world. I'm also thinking of sponsoring a design contest so that you the reader can possibly create the mecha designs
to go with my story. More on this idea as I work out the details.
My other new project is a complete ripoff. My working title for this new project will be "Gundam 2 Scale," and it is inspired by the "Starship Dimensions" site. Gundam 2 Scale will basically be the same thing (but for Gundam, duh), however, I'm also looking into an interactive database and some other neat goodies. Hopefully I'll have more info for you (and a URL) as I get the details worked out. In the meantime, you're all welcome to drop me a line at mechadomain2000NOSPAM@yahoo.com and say hi.
Until next time, believe in the sign of Zeta!
Final Fusion, APPROVED! by Corey 2:15 A.M. EST I'm happy to announce a new addition to the site today. The Brave Saga section is now open (thanks to some help from Dale and Chris). I'll be starting things off with reviews for episodes 1-2 of King of Braves GaoGaiGar. Expect updates weekly, as I will be trying to tackle the series two episodes at a time. And now I too am jumping on the bandwagon, and am forsaking my nickname on MAHQ for my real one. You'll now be seeing me on the site as Corey "Enigma" Mello.
Up and Alive, and more reviews by Joel 12:35 A.M. EST
Hello people, I know I said I’d do my best to get some more reviews done earlier, but life likes to kick you in the pants, any chance it gets. I finished my work experience at the college I am attending, and now I have just over a week and a half of free time. And you know what that means, catch up reviews!
Episodes 30-34 of Tekkaman Blade have been reviewed. This series is slowly coming along, and we don’t have far left to go now. Just hold on folks, I’ll get this finished, I promise you that! *wink*

More Profiles by Chris 9:25 P.M. EST I've got some more SEED vehicle profiles in Burke's format, this time focusing on 6 ZAFT pieces. They are:
I've also made some updates to the various Astray sections. I've decided to break apart the 3 Gundam Astray profiles in the same manner as the Strike Gundam. This time, I've done something I don't normally do. The Gold Frame Amatu and Blue Frame Second are still works in progress, so those 4 are currently unlinked. Expect to see the full profiles soon.

SEED Update by Chris 11:50 P.M. EST With the hurricane talking longer than expected to make landfall, I figured I'd put up an update. First up, there's reviews for episodes 2-3 of the SEED Special Edition compilations. Next, there's some new comprehensive profiles in Burke's format. With most of the mecha profiles completed for SEED, it's time to turn the attention to vehicles and ships. I'm starting off with all the vehicles for the Earth Alliance. Expect ZAFT soon. Finally, there's some cleaner lineart for SEED DESTINY, including new lineart for the Abyss Gundam, courtesy of MavHunterExtreme.

Hurricane Warning by Chris 3:20 P.M. EST For anyone who's been following the news, Hurricane Frances is expected to affect South Florida within the next few days. Aside from the fact that Dale, Tanya and I live in South Florida, the MAHQ server is also physically located down here. Therefore, if power is lost, the site will be down throughout the weekend and probably well into next week. This would also affect our e-mail service. Hopefully this won't happen and downtime can be avoided.
