Heero's Return by Chris 6:49 P.M. EST
Over the last few years, I've gone back and re-reviewed some of the series from MAHQ's earliest days. Today, I'm launching the next (and probably last) of those projects: Gundam Wing. This update kicks things off with re-reviews and new screenshots for episodes 1-5. More on the way soon.

More Plastic by Chris 5:59 P.M. EST
As promised, here's another set of five new model reviews. I'm going to try and keep this daily pace of five reviews to knock out as much of the backlog as quickly as I can. So here's the goods:
FG 1/144 Gundam Kyrios by Anime-Mun

HG 1/144 GM Sniper
HGUC 1/144 Gundam TR-1 [Hazel Custom]

The Plastic Rebellion by Chris 6:05 P.M. EST
The long dormant Models section is resurrected with today's update. Rather than get overwhelmed trying to do a ginormous update, I'm trying out smaller, incremental updates. So today's first dip into the backlog consists of five reviews. They are:
1/100 Gundam Dynames by Edgewood
FG 1/144 Gundam Exia (Rollout colors) by G-Slayer
HGGS 1/144 Providence Gundam by Erishkigal
HGUC 1/144 Guncannon Heavy Arms Type (B-Club) by Clem-Master-Janitor
MG 1/100 Zaku I Ramba Ral Custom by Warhammer
More will be on the way soon.

Random News by Chris 4:54 P.M. EST
There's no actual update today, but I do have some news to share. First, this weekend I'll be heading to Dragon*Con in Atlanta with Dale and Tanya. If you're a sci-fi geek, this convention has it all, with guests like William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Patrick Stewart and various cast members from Battlestar Galactica (old and new) and Babylon 5. We'll be recording whatever panels we can, along with our daily impressions, so expect a special Gundamn! episode to be coming out of this.
In other news, if you're a mecha fan in South Florida, there's an event to check out. For one night only on Sept. 24, you can view a theatrical screening of Eureka Seven: Good night, Sleep tight, Young lovers (aka Pocket Full of Rainbows in Japan). The screening will be at 7:30 P.M. at Regal Palace 18, 11865 SW 26th St., Miami. For more information, call 305-221-3402.

Mecha Xplosion by Chris 9:56 P.M. EST
Because words that start with an 'x' are cooler, right? There's a bunch of Gundam stuff in today's update, starting with a new section for the arcade/PSP game Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam Vs. Gundam. Next up, there's updates for Battlefield Record UC 0081, Advance of Zeta, FRAME ASTRAYS, Unicorn (novel), Secret Weapons, Gundam 0083, Phantom Pain Report, VS ASTRAY, STARGAZER and DESTINY ASTRAY (photonovel). That's all courtesy of Kuruni, Red Zaku, Red XIV and asterphage. Apologies if I missed anyone or anything, but this was a lot of stuff to catch up on.

Crossdressing Shinn by Chris 11:45 A.M. EST
Today's update is rather large, so I'll get right to the meat. First, there's a new review for the SD Gundam-ish SEED SUPERNOVA. There's a large update in lineart for practically ever suit in the Gundam 00 section, courtesy of EZero8. There's also new lineart for 00P's Gundam Artemie, courtesy of Kuruni. There's also quite a bit of new lineart for 00V, courtesy of Kuruni and Deacon Blues. Finally, there's a new section for Gundam SEED VS ASTRAY, with some lineart courtesy of Red Zaku. More mecha updates will be coming later in the week.

Death Gods and Unicorns by Chris 12:15 A.M. EST
There are several Gundam updates to point out today, starting with my review for episode 3 of MS IGLOO 2, which closes out the series. Next up, although they're small, there are new anime and mecha sections open for Gundam Unicorn. They'll of course be updated over time as more information is released about the anime.

Gundamn! staff @ Mini Megacon by Dale 11:48 A.M. EST
Staff from MAHQ and Gundamn! will be attending Mini Megacon this Saturday and Sunday at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. Media guests include Charisma Carpenter, Emma Caulfield, Amber Benson, and Adam Busch (from Buffy and Angel). The Anime track includes voice actor Vic Mignogna along with AMVs, a cosplay contest, and a dance party. I will be there along with my wife Tanya to gather material for the next Gundamn! podcast. Adam will be roaming the convention floor as well, so if you see any of us, stop and say hi!
