Though the RPI-11 Glasgow is rapidly rendered obsolete by the march of progress, its usefulness has not completely ended. Several Glasgow units are modified by the Britannia Empire for use by the police forces in Area 11, giving the police an edge against most criminals. The LE-E106 Knightpolice, as the modified unit is designated, uses a pair of machine pistols as its primary weapons, though retaining the tonfa and slash harkens from its previous incarnation. A Knightpolice unit menaces the Order of the Black Knights when they attempt to raid a warehouse where the hallucinogenic drug Refrain is produced, and another is part of the SWAT team assembled by Black Knight leader Lelouch Lamperouge to confront fellow Geass-user Mao and rescue his benefactor/partner C.C.
