Mechanical designer: Makoto Kobayashi Notes: The Neo-Geo's design is based on another Kobayashi design, the PMX-003 The O from Mobile Suit Z Gundam. In fact the "Geo" part of Neo-Geo is supposed to be a word play of sorts on "The O". Another version of the Neo-Geo appeared in an earlier form, called The O Special, which was a variant of The O and was also illustrated by Kobayashi. |
