The Gedo is the first aura battler created in Byston Well after the arrival of Upper Earth engineers Shot Weapon and Zet Light. As the first aura battler ever, the Gedo is crude when compared to later models such as the Drumlo. The Gedo's basic aura power requirements are high, and its speed and aura conversion ability are both low. The Gedo's sole armament is a simple sword. To gain enough funds to build his aura battler army, Drake Luft sells the Gedo to many buyers, including his liege lord King Furaon Elf of the Kingdom of Ah. When Drake later rebels against Furaon in the battle to capture Elf Castle, the Gedo units perform very poorly against the Drumlos and are easily destroyed.
