The Zelana serves as the home base for Nie Given's fight against Drake Luft's military conquest of Byston Well. The design of the Zelana is based on the Bull Beggar class aura ships used by Drake and his allies, but the Zelana is faster. Armed with several machine gun turrets, the Zelana's main defense is its aura battler unit. The underside of the ship's hull can also hold up to two Fou wing calibers, though usually only one is docked at any given time. After receiving heavy damage during the last battle for the Kingdom of Lao, the Zelana is repaired and upgraded by Queen Ceila Lapana of the Kingdom of Na. When the Ferarios move the conflict to Upper Earth, the Zelana is at first separated from its allies in Columbia. After reuniting with the Graon and Guran Galan, the Zelana continues the fight against the forces of Drake and Bishot Hate. In the final battle over the Pacific Ocean, the Zelana is destroyed during an unsuccessful attempt to ram Shot Weapon's aura ship Spriggan.
