Technical and Historical Notes

The GN-007 Arios Gundam serves as the successor to Allelujah Haptism’s GN-003 Gundam Kyrios. The Arios Gundam’s design places a high emphasis on speed and offers improved weapons and flight capability over the Gundam Kyrios. Because of the focus on speed, the Arios Gundam gets the biggest mobility boost when using Trans-Am over its partner suits. The Arios Gundam’s head antennae feature the same GN particle control function found in the clavicle antennae of third generation Gundams. The GN Drive is located between the legs to allow sufficient supply of GN particles to the docked support suit GNR-101A GN Archer. When docked with the GN Archer, the Arios Gundam becomes the high mobility GN-007+GNR-101A Archer Arios.

The Arios Gundam’s main weapon is its GN Twin Beam Rifle, which has a high rate of fire and a movable upper barrel that can attack ground targets while in flight mode. It’s also armed with a pair of GN Beam Sabers and arm-mounted GN Submachine Guns that are as powerful as the Gundam Kyrios’ GN Beam Submachine Gun. The Arios Gundam’s GN Beam Shield is built into its body and becomes the nose in flight mode. Like the Gundam Kyrios, the shield can function as a claw for pincer attacks. In AD 2312, Celestial Being conducts an armed intervention to rescue Allelujah, who had been held prisoner for four years after being captured. Allelujah immediately utilizes the power of his new Gundam during the prison break out. He leaves Celestial Being after the conflict with the Innovators ends, but the group's engineers create the new transforming GN-011 Gundam Harute for his eventual return.
