Technical and Historical Notes

This RGM-79Q GM Quel is stationed aboard the Alexandria class Aswan as a reserve machine so that its parts could be exchanged with those of the RX-121 Gundam TR-1 [Hazel]. Although its head has been replaced with the Gundam-type used by the Hazel, the rest of its body remains identical to that of the standard GM Quel. This machine wasn't originally intended for combat use, but as successive battles take their toll on the Murphy team's mobile suit roster, Eliard Hunter begins using it in battle as well as for testing of the tri-booster unit. The machine is later re-registered as the RX-121-2 Gundam TR-1 [Hazel II].
