Technical and Historical Notes

During a contract job, the MBF-P03 Blue Frame is heavily damaged in combat with Eleven Socius' GAT-01D Long Dagger. Afterwards, Gai upgrades the unit to the Blue Frame Second L with some assistance from MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame pilot Lowe Guele. Lowe's contribution is the detachable Tactical Arms backpack, which is capable of separate flight and comes equipped with a 90mm Gatling gun. The Tactical Arms can also be reconfigured for use as an oversized blade. Additionally, the Blue Frame Second's feet are remodeled and feature hidden toe and heel knife blades, which also double as anchoring spikes. Also, Phase Shift armor is added to the area surrounding the cockpit by Orb Union mobile suit engineer Erica Simmons. The head is also remodeled to include remote control equipment. This enhanced version is known as the Blue Frame Second L (the "L" denoting Lowe), but Gai also makes another alternate configuration: the Blue Frame Second G.
