The NZ-222 Psyco Doga is a prototype Newtype use mobile armor developed by Char Aznable's Neo Zeon movement. It is built in parallel to the MSN-03 Jagd Doga and serves as the prototype for the NZ-333 a Azieru. Because developers fail to meet a deadline for miniaturizing the psycommu system, the Psyco Doga's body is enlarged from a mobile suit to a mobile armor. Its armaments consist of an I-field beam generator, six funnels and wire-guided psycommu beam guns mounted on the shoulders.
