Technical and Historical Notes

Created for anti-ship combat, the EMA-03 Gangrijo was a mobile armor fielded by the Jupiter Empire early in the Jupiter Conflict. Designed with a paired-hull body, the Gangrijo mounted a powerful generator in its right segment, which powered a large mega particle cannon in its left. For close combat, it mounted a pair of claws with built-in beam guns. However, since its maneuverability was low, the Gangrijo mounted several anti-aircraft machine guns on top of its body for point defense. One Gangrijo was used in an attack on the Mother Vanguard, but was defeated single-handedly by Kincado Nau's XM-X1 (F97) Crossbone Gundam X-1. Later in the conflict, the Jupiter Empire would mass produce the Gangrijo during the final stages of its Earth invasion operation.
