The main mobile suit of the Jupiter Empire, the EMS-06 Batara is designed with the intent of producing a machine that's both compact and high performance, with each part of its body having a specific purpose. The thrusters are mostly confined to the legs (specifically the thighs), allowing it to turn simply by moving its legs. The Batara's weapons are designed exclusively as handheld units, while the sensors are confined to the head and other functions are disseminated throughout the body, producing a machine with an overall slim profile. However, because it's intended to operate primarily in zero gravity, the Batara's legs are little more than landing gear and perform poorly when used to walk under standard gravity. The head's dual sensor unit features a visor for precision sighting, while the modular design of the body makes it fast and economical to develop specialized variants simply by swapping parts, producing an efficient machine that meshes well with the Jupiter Empire's lack of resources and manufacturing power.
