Note: This is an early design version of the final MWS-19051G D Gundam "First." At the time this J Gundam was being drawn, the actual name of the mobile suit had not been finalized. The "J" was to be short for "job" (i.e. this is a hand-made worker mobile suit), but the name was dropped because "J Gundam" would sound too close to "Jegan" (i.e. RGM-89 Jegan from Char's Counterattack).
