Technical and Historical Notes

One of many Gundam F90 optional armament variations developed by the Earth Federation Forces' SNRI during the UC 0110s and 0120s, the F90H Gundam F90 Hover Type (or "H-Type", for short) was designed to perform high-speed, hit-and-run attacks on ground-based targets. Inspired by the old Principality of Zeon's MS-09 Dom which tormented the EFF during the One Year War, the F90 H-Type was equipped with a set of hovering jet thruster packs all over its body, allowing the Gundam to skim along the ground at high speeds. Armed with a pair of 4-tube missile launchers, a grenade launcher pack, and a hand-carried beam pistol, the Gundam F90 Hover Type was certainly well-suited for high-speed ground combat.
