A mass production frontline unit used by the Oldsmobile Army in the early UC 0120s, the OMS-06RF RF Zaku bore a strong resemblance to the MS-06 Zaku used by the old Principality of Zeon during the One Year War. Despite its outward appearance, the RF Zaku ("RF" being short for "ReFined") was actually quite modern in its internal design, sporting an overall performance better than the Neo Zeon AMS-119 Geara Doga. Unlike the original Zaku, the RF Zaku could use a variety of comtemporary beam weapons, and it also mounted a pair of linked vulcan guns in its right shoulder shield.
