Technical and Historical Notes

When the city of Tokyo was attacked by a mysterious mobile suit army in FC 60, Domon Kasshu and partner Rain Mikamura were sent to investigate the situation. What they found was a Tokyo left in ruins and hordes of mobile suits called the Death Army. Further investigation revealed that the Death Army suits were created by the JDG-00X Devil Gundam that Domon was pursuing. The Death Army suits were mass produced by the Devil Gundam's DG cells, which contained the properties of self-evolution and self-repair created by Dr. Kasshu. Even stranger was the fact that the Death Army suits were piloted by corpses reanimated by DG cells. The Death Army suits carried the fairly standard armament of a beam rifle and death rifle, but their advantage was that they worked together in large groups. As discovered by Domon and Master Asia, when one Death Army suit was in danger it could call for reinforcements that would come in hordes. It was later discovered that the Death Army suits were merely a defense system for the Devil Gundam, which was nesting and evolving underneath Tokyo.
