The nations of the United Colonies Federation produce mobile suits and armors for use outside of the Gundam Fight. One such unit is the JMA27T Fantoma, a mobile armor developed by Neo Japan. The large Fantoma is armed with dozens of missile launchers. It's unknown how many are produced, but one unit is used by Ulube Ishikawa in FC 59 when he chases Kyoji Kasshu and the Ultimate Gundam to Earth. When Ulube confronts the newly-evolved JDG-00X Devil Gundam with a large force of JMS60 Busshi suits, they're all wiped out and the Fantoma is severely damaged. Ulube himself is injured in the battle, and the metal plate he wears over his face is the result of those injuries. In FC 60, another Fantoma unit is used as a stand-in for the Devil Gundam in a battle where Domon Kasshu is under the influence of hallucinatory drugs.
