After reviewing the performance of the AMA-100 Z'od-iacok, Axis' engineers set out to correct its flaws while streamlining it for possible mass production. Though it loses the original's close combat weapons, the mass production model still features a powerful mega particle cannon, high-speed thrusters and the ability to survive atmospheric re-entry. The result is a very strong and very cost-effective machine; however, the Neo Zeon leadership decides to shift its focus to the development of mobile suits with quasi-psycommu weaponry, thus discontinuing development of the Z'od-iacok Mass Production Type while it's still in its design stages.
