Technical and Historical Notes

 

The RX-79(G)Ez-8/HAC Gundam Ez8 HAC (aka Heavy Arms Custom) is an Earth Federation Forces custom mobile suit. This machine is a version of the RX-79[G]Ez-8 Gundam Ez8 used by Shiro Amada, remodeled for space use with an emphasis on firepower. Two large-caliber beam cannons derived from the main guns of the Salamis class cruiser are attached to its back, giving it firepower equivalent to a warship. Manipulators are installed in its legs to support the cannon barrels and keep their movement to a minimum. Since the mobile suit itself has received only the most minimal modifications for space combat, the added weight of the Salamis cannons means that its mobility is not very high. Although this is essentially a handmade machine, most of whose modification parts are derived from other machines, the result is a high-performance mobile suit whose overall specs are equal to those of other machines.
